Did you visit the maga school there, W$L? VA is a weird state. Old south.

We visited and it seemed like a nice, normal SLAC. I have no idea what all this hate is about. Very weird.

Virginia is a weird place. Full of wack jobs.

Virginia is just an uppity Texas without the oil money.

They do if their kid is at JMU or Mason or VCU. Maybe even VA Tech for humanities?

DP. They get jealous? This doesn’t even compute for me. We can afford $90k for our in-state student and I think my kid would be a fool to choose Richmond over JMU, VCU or Va Tech. Thankfully, she agrees. No jealousy here.

+1

We also would not let our kid choose Richmond over JMU, VT, or UVA. It’s not even worth it, financially, or academically.

Agree. The value is not there. To each their own but in my opinion only a fool would pay $90k for U Richmond.

It’s none of your business how other people spend their money.

Second that. Best Greek life ever. Plus those pink elephants…

Of course people have a right to waste their money. And I have a right to point out that they are wasting their money paying $90k for UR. What’s your point?

My kid isn't interested but now I kind of want to visit just to see this place.

Me too. Kid bot going. Want to see freak show. What’s up with UR?

This always comes down to money. Some people are ok paying full price for college. Others think that paying close to 400,000 for an education is crazy.

This split is even worse these days because the cost of college has increased so much and because so many kids now want school spirit. And by spirit, I mean Division 1 sports.

This may come as a surprise to you, but not everyone at U Richmond is from Virginia and comparing in-state options.
