Anyone know anything about I Richmond? Never heard of it before my daughter mentioned it. Seems like a strong school. Not well known like W&M or UVA. But still super expensive. I’m not getting the appeal here. |
Don’t send your kids to UR. Way overrated. |
Old southern money. Also lots of Jersey bros. |
My son looked at UR last year. Weird school. We won’t be looking at it for kid number 2. |
Very pretty campus, extremely well kept. Small student population. Most of the students seem affluent and preppy. Fairly homogenous. That said, I liked it. Would 100% pick W&M over it however. |
Went on a tour with my kid about a month ago, it was a terrible tour. No mention of clubs, if they had sports, etc. Very disappointing, its so expensive and tough to get into. Something was off |
So the UR troll posted 3 times in a row, each a minute apart. Just go away. |
It’s been a while, but my oldest got into and went to UVA but was waitlisted at U of R. |
You all are just jealous because you can’t afford UR and can’t get in even if you had the money. Look elsewhere. We don’t need your kind. |
U of R is a wonderful school! We know many there. They are bright active down to earth students. Campus is beautiful and outcomes are comparable to WM, Wake, BC. |
Sorry your son couldn’t get in. There’s always VCU. |
Richmond has moved ahead of W&M and uva. It’s now the top school in Virginia. |
Not surprised. UR is the better school. |
These comments are so arrogant. Also so untrue. Does anyone really believe UR is a better school than W&M or Iva? I think not. |
I asked this in another thread: how come I never met any graduate from U of R even though I lived in NoVA all my life? Is it that small of a population? I feel like it's a different circle than mine. Where do students come from? where do they go? what's the circle that brags that their DC is going to U of R? It's a hard school to get into and I'm definitely missing something. The WASP people I know but still don't get but I meet them and talk to them just don't get them. You can tell - I'm a State school guy. Just trying to understand. |
