Honest question:

Who goes here? Why? Just don’t get it. It’s not a classic SLAC like W&L or Middlebury or Grinnell, just to name a few. And it’s not a name brand school like W&M or Emory or Vanderbilt. And the academics seem very mid. It has no name recognition. None. Don’t see the appeal.

It’s a school for wealthy people with mediocre kids. They get 4 years of fluff academics, parties, social climbing. Not for me.

We toured it and thought it was great! I wouldn’t pay $90k, but I wouldn’t pay $90k for anywhere. College just isn’t worth that amount.
