Even then it's difficult. They literally have a lottery for new hires because the union is preventing new people from being hired in order to preserve their overtime racket. JFC these are the least sympathetic union workers in the world. Harris needs to be very careful supporting them because the longer this goes on the more the electorate learns about the Longshoremen and the more harm it does to normal union workers and regular Americans. |

But then you're golden. The head of this union makes $780,000 a year. He has one house in NJ worth $1.4 million. And another in Florida worth $2.4 million. He drives a Bentley. He wears a $40,000 watch. He just sold his 76 foot yacht for seven figures. And naturally his son works for the union too in a $450,000 a year "job." This union head fully intends to take down the US. I just watched an interview with him. He is drunk with power. He absolutely revels in all the people that are about to lose their jobs because the shelves are empty and there's nothing to sell. It's no different than a mafia shake down. And he's the don. The interesting thing is that he knows that in a few weeks everyone in America is going to despise the Longshoremen Union. But they don't care. They are here to show who ultimately has the power in this country. And it's the dock workers. And they want to get paid big time and put their old friend Trump back into the White House and ensure that no automation ever threatens their grift again. It's going to be a mess. |

What is more interesting is that Biden is sitting back and letting this strike happen without invoking the Taft Act. He knows it's going to hurt Harris and has the ability to stop it. Is this payback for pushing him off the ticket?

| We can’t expect anything from Biden or his cabinet. They aren’t held accountable by him and I’m not sure he could at his stage of decline hold them accountable. He doesn’t and won’t and none of them really ever cared about their jobs so here we are. romaindo and mayor Pete don’t care about the strike, Austin is out of it and sending more and more troops to the Middle East, mayorkas clearly doesn’t care about the border. I think only Garland cares. The rest were patronage appointments who have never been tasked with doing anything and don’t care and here we are. It’s all a huge mess. |
