They arrived long ago. The Kate-bashing is several pages long by now.

This is what I object to
I found the Diana mania a bit much
The queen was also elevated to a god like status, not that she needed or deserved criticism, but these are all humans who do have flaws as well and are not gods

So what is the purpose of calling people Sussex squad?
Are we supposed to shut up and buy the tabloid propaganda about how wonderful these people are and be believers?

I do not admire Kate or adore her, I really doubt these people live up to the image portrayed about them

The Sussex squad accusation is out of line

You shut down even the tiniest criticism of Meghan and Harry but sure let’s believe you.

Why would you say that?

ITA. She chased after (or waited for) that man for 10 years of her life.

Another in agreement. I don't think it's particularly dignified to take someone back after cheating and who makes it clear you're the backup. I guess she's dignified in putting up with humiliation but I don't find that particularly admirable.

....she was raised to be a social climber and now she's on the top of the pyramid. Success at all costs - in this case the price was personal dignity and the reward was social status and a crappy husband.

I don’t dislike Kate. I do, however, think she is miserable…and I often wonder if she regrets chasing this lifestyle. I think William is truly awful, and I cannot imagine she likes being around him (let alone having to constantly pretend all is well).

I think Kate would’ve been happier if she’d chosen a different path in life.

I suspect it’s because her team reads these threads.

I think Kate needs some R&R sans husband and kids.

Well, despite the innuendos and gossip with no facts to back it up.the Wales family is looking good. The children are obviously loved and interact with their parents. All this BS trying to cut them down to bring another family”up” is sick.

I think she needs to go back in time and make different choices, frankly. A vacation isn’t going to free her from this lifestyle.

I have the same build as her. I think the pregnancies were a factor. I didn't have hyperemesis like she did but when I was postpartum/breastfeeding I looked anorexic. Sometimes slim women's bodies seem to overcorrect when they drop pregnancy weight.

I had hyperemesis like her and it took my face and body a couple years to really adjust back to looking healthy.

That would probably lead to a very interesting discussion on the royal family and the press. Camilla has had her image rehabilitated in a remarkable way. I think they learned from the mistake with Diana, to not let anyone outshine them. The royal family has transitioned to Charles being king in a most remarkable way. The accusation of calling their critics members of the Sussex squad is a good example.
Like they say: someone must be bad so that others can be good
Yes, they have gained a lot in the fight to bring down the Sussexes, they even went a little overboard.
Most of the royals are old, Charles, Camilla, princess Anne, Edward, randy Andy

In a few decades it will just be William and his 3 grown kids

With all due respect, this is not at all a rational belief, PP.

The projection here is crazy.

Why wouldn't the Waleses be a happy and functional (relatively considering the public lifestyle) family? They certainly look it and I think that is very hard to fake consistently. It may not be the lifestyle for you but Kate knew what she was getting into and she is doing it beautifully. It is all sunshine and roses behind the scenes? Probably not but that is because it is hard work. She is doing a lovely job just like Queen Elizabeth did.

She is scarily thin. My SIL has a face/neck like her. It always makes me a little sad because I used to be anorexic and I remember just being so tortured thinking I couldn't eat anything. I hope she isn't experiencing that.

She is not scarily thin.

Not anymore. She looks great!

If you saw her playing tennis with Federer, she is very muscled and fit

About the standard time for a DCUM woman

It seems like there are far more haters of Kate’s sister-in-law than fans of Kate herself. Just interesting! And in the same way, one doesn’t have to be a fan of her SIL to dislike the monarchy. There were anti-monarchists long before this generation of royals came of age.

The current anti monarchists started about 40 years ago

Or are you referring to Oliver Cromwell who ended up with his head on a spike in front of Parliament for 30 years?

And I assume the Royal Family wanted someone who wanted to do the job. So I do not see why people have an issue with her wanting to do this from the beginning.

MM and harry are out if of the picture.

What she does not understand is curveballs. A germ, a chemical imbalance, a bullet, a weather event … all can end your life just like that.

Are you kidding me? Look at this woman and both how she first welcomed and then had to face off with awful MM! She is made of steel and was raised right, she knows to to sidestep the minefields of her life, knows how to stay focused on what matters (her kids, husband, family) and how to keep her head up and keep at it. She is the ultimate Never complain never Explain and people trash her for it but it’s misogynistic trash yet again; you only get to be a strong warrior woman if you’re a minority or homely, not if you’re a rich beautiful woman lucky beyond measure. I think she’s strong and fabulous and seems like a great mum and woman.
