94 year old man in MN discovered was supposedly a Nazi SS officer. Now everyone (including the NYT) is screaming for his deportation and trial. Enough is enough. The man is 94 years old. Leave him be.

| Why? If you live long enough, it doesn't matter that you were a mass murderer? How old is too old to face justice for war crimes? |
| Oh God, OP... |
|
Did you seriously just post that title? Really?
Do you know anything about the holocaust? Perhaps consider spending an afternoon at the holocaust museum before you write anything publicly again about it. |

| Op: I say this because the guy was 14 years old when the holocaust began in january 1933. How much say could a kid really have in a camp. |
|
Old age does not give him a free pass on heinous acts.
Byron de la Beckwith was in his 70s when convicted of assassinating Medgar Evers. Should they have no prosecuted him? |
Uhh, you could have made that clearer instead of your insensitive and stupid post. |
14 in 1933 means in his early-mid 20s during the war. Your point makes no sense. Also, people in their 90s were not spared as victims of the Holocaust, so I fail to see why escaping justice until his 90s should excuse this person in any way. |
|
A good rule of thumb? Don't start a sentence with "I'm sorry about the holocaust, but..."
Kinda puts people off, know what I mean? |
uhh, you could have done the math yourself. You Dinny need high level math skills or a degree in history to figure that out in your head. 94 in 2013 = very young during WWII and even younger before when the slaughter began. |

The holocaust started in 1933 but mass killing of Jews really ramped up around 1941 when this man was 22. Also WW2 started in 1939 when he was 20. Plenty old enough in my opinion. |
Ok OP thank you for clarifying that you're an idiot, I'm glad we all had this moment. Oh, and great job expressing your opinion without any real facts or links to information about what you're upset about. |
