Agree to disagree. Whether they both deserved to play or not in the championship game doesn’t mean you play both if you are trying to win an actual championship

But hey, I’m an Oakton parent, glad you made the change. Worked out for our team 🤣🤣🤣

Funniest part about this is she cost them the state championship game and is now ditching them to go to BI🤣

You are F***ing sick man. No individual cost us that game.

Pretty sure you missed the point of that post. The word on the street is that Battlefield is losing their Sophomore Attacker and Sophomore Goalie to BI

You are naive beyond words. What girls say to each other is part of the process, and they are PEERS. Allowing a dominant ADULT male to tear into teenage girls is an entirely different issue. You are doing a great job enabling bully behavior and engineering kids to think their interests are subordinate to a failing middle-aged ego.

You definitely have an issue and don’t understand the term bullying! As someone else mentioned if you are the parent and never EVER brought to the attention of the administrators then you are a poor parent! Tough coaching is just what it is and if you were aware of this perceived bullying and never mentioned it YOU failed as a parent and you have no right to be their parent… YOU have failed them….So STFU and move on! Go cuddle your small children and drop them off with your. 🚁

Probably shouldn’t let your teenage play organized sports if they and you don’t understand the difference between bullying and coaching…
Was an individual singled out and humiliated or was it directed towards the team?
If it was directed at an individual then different story and you should have intervened… agree if you allowed all year you failed your family!
If a coach went off on the entire team and an individual took it personally then it sounds like a personal problem. What I have heard and seen it’s not an issue except for you and one other parent. I think we know who that is.

This parent talking about being naive reminds me of an earlier thread where they allowed their daughter to play who said she was putting her health at risk… what parent would allow that? Unless this was one and the same!
If your daughter is any good bring her to Madison…

Anyone know what Oakton JV record ended up being?
I will say that I take my hat off to Oakton coaches for the draw control adjustments at halftime. I understand that their normal player tore ACL last game. We were controlling the majority in the first half. They made adjustments and we didn’t see the ball on our end of field for probably the first 10 minutes or more second half. Allowed them to push lead out… nice coaching.
Their backer defense and goalie shut us down and we couldn’t take advantage of controlling the draw first half. Their defense was relentless and we couldn’t get our hands free … nice game plan and discipline!

Our coaches made adjustments second half and Oakton inability to keep possession with lots of mistakes and turnovers allowed us to get the ball. Their senior team was very sloppy along with our coaches adjustments and properly placed double and triple teams causing them to panic. Players execution good and bad made for an exciting game.
Let me know about JV record.
Thanks and congratulations to Oakton for winning and Battlefield for never giving up!

I’m not sure of Oakton’s JV record but I only recall two games where they were behind when I arrived for the varsity game. They seemed to do very well on the draw and really hustled. I think Oakton will be above .500 next season, how much above depends on development, but they have lots of upside.

Oakton JV was around 7-4 or so. Decent year and beat everyone in district except for Madison.

Ha, I’m laughing at the comment for coaching adjustments on the draw by oakton. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to know that the only move for oakton (since they do not sub at all) was out the next best players on the circle. Again not rocket science and any person with half a brain can figure that out.
Your giving way too much credit to the oakton coaches

Oakton didn’t even compare to Battlefield’s draw team.

Sounds like a Oakton parent that is clueless and daughter must be on the bench. Tried to give a compliment and you are a hater… probably hate yourself. I guess I should have said the players made the adjustments. Since they are so talented… ha ha! You got lucky. Hopefully your daughter is a senior because you are going to be miserable all next year… but the way you sound you are already miserable. By the way no spaceship involved.
We will dominate you next year! And if your daughter is around she’ll be a loser like you!

Oakton won’t be dominating next year. Especially without 11. Good luck!

Thanks for the Oakton JV update. Madison nemesis as usual. Just wanted to see what we are up against next year.
Again thanks!

Big man making these types of comments about teenage girls. I am sorry your life is so sad that you needed to type this to make yourself feel better. Can you remind me which rebounded for #11 your daughter is?
