Team lost 10 seniors but lots of talent still left. Also said look for aggressive and physical team play this year thinks that was one of the things that beat them in finals.

Not sure aggressive and physical play was what that team was lacking. They played three tough teams this past season including scrimmages and lost them all. Riverside didn’t even play four starters in their game and still won. Both teams played two players down, so it was physical. Battlefield wants to believe they are better than they are by beating really weak teams in a weak region.

Battlefield knows exactly who they are and what kind of work they need to do dumb dumb. They don’t think they are better than anyone. Try staying focused and have good sportsmanship while you try to gain something out of each of these opponents. That’s what they do every time they are on the field. Get better no matter who they play.

From what is posted on the interwebs, it looks like Battlefield has stepped up their scheduling this year out of district, so kudos to them. Will it make a difference? We will see.

As noted above, Battlefield will lose more, but still make the finals. The opponent they will most likely lose to will be between Yorktown, Oakton and Woodson.

I wouldn't over look either of the Hillbilly centrevile teams this year as non threats. Westfields and centreville are both stacked with talent and look hungry.
Chantilly might surprise a team or two this year.
Oakton is going to continue to be the measuring stick. With Yorktown and Oakton teams maybe even better than last year's teams.
Robinson is Robinson, what more needs to be said about them. Lol!

I really wouldn't start writing in Battlefield as champions quite yet, it's going to a good girls season this year. 😊

Not a bad list but based on St James indoor results so far I would move Battlefield up to top 4 and Langley much lower.

7 v 7 indoor has to be taken with a grain of salt. No draws and inconsistencies from week to week. Not to mention a lot of basketball players don’t play it when they will be out there in the spring.

They would probably be about 8th and Douglas Freeman 6th is the two I would add. Bump others down to make room.

This is accurate. Take those results with a big grain of salt.

Battlefield beat Yorktown 21-9. I think it would take more than a few bball players, 7v7 format or field size to turn that score around.

Keep dreaming battlefield parents. You lost a lot more talent than you gained.
