| Google Jennifer Aniston Capri pants and you'll see how classic capris, a white tank, and leather flip flops are. This is how all women of a certain age should dress. I cringe when I see women over 40 in shorts. |

Jen Aniston in capris, tank and flip flops. |
| Looks great on her because she's Jen Aniston. I would look like the frump of all frumps in that same outfit. |
| To pp: then you probably shouldn't wear shorts, either. If you are too chubby for a tank, then wear a short-sleeved top cut more generously. But you should wear capris...not shorts...unless you have great legs. |
Right. I don't wear shorts. I wear skirts and sundresses. I'm not chubby. I just don't generally find a tank top and baggy pants to be attractive on 99% of people. |
| I'm built like her on top...not on bottom. What bra can I wear with that tank. I end up wearing strapless which is annoying |
| I am just laughing my head off that this pp thinks if it works for Jen, it works for any woman of a certain age. |
I actually do not agree at all. I wear them in spring and summer and I know they look great, I get lots of compliments and with the right shoes/top it can look very Jackie O. Its all about who is wearing it and how. |
Jennifer Aniston looks good in capris. Jennifer Aniston is in her 40's. Ergo, if I am in my 40's and wearing capris, I look like Jennifer Aniston! |
Sounds logical to me.
|
No, the logic is that it's still possible to look good in certain clothes if you're very fit. Age in and of itself is not the barometer. Jennifer Anniston proves that. We use her as an example because you likely don't know my hot 45-year-old neighbor Jan. |
Relax, it was a joke. |
Relax, I'm just engaging in the conversation. |
Those are not really capris, they are ankle length rolled up -- a look that really only looks good on the young, lean, or movie star. (Or my granny in the garden) |
Agree-not the classic capris that are the subject of this thread. |
