We’ll be ready..it’s coming 😀👍

I’m not Trump fan, but they are in control of all three branches of government. Hopefully there are some competent people left.

There are but many of the things he promises are ridiculous, like that big beautiful wall that Mexico is paying for. He is a clown.

I'm hoping this is another version of that.

This whole thread proves that the government is overloaded with partisan Democrats. Hope Vivek and Elon are monitoring. Thanks for outing yourselves.

No. But it is obvious that the federal government is loaded with partisans from the Democratic party. Get a clue.

Why? You think people should be fired for their political opinions?

Some of the feds that perform low are very worried at my work. They have been politely asked to look elsewhere but didn't take it seriously and this time I would keep high performers rather than those loafers.

Also noted the work will be done by July 2026 - 18 months. The “they can’t get it done in 4 years” chatter is clearly wishful thinking.

The fact that you believe that all this can be done in 18 months is hilarious.

You were the repeated 2016 “the fact that you think Trump can ever be the republican nominee much less elected president is hilarious” poster weren’t you

No, I always knew that people are stupid enough to vote for Trump. There are also stupid enough to believe everything he says.

Perhaps check your grammar usage before calling others stupid.

I’m a long term fed and am a moderate. If trump reformed the civil service and made it easier to fire low performers it would be a boon. I know some feds who have been put on multiple PIPs and get their work up but then slack off a year later. It’s a continual cycle. Performance ratings should tell you everything you need to know. If you’re only “meeting expectations” then you’re underperforming

How safe are term employees? If someone has a 2-year contract, can that just be terminated? Or do they go through the regular RIF process and would just be at the bottom of the totem pole?

DMV is a diverse area and there are many successful foreign born workers here. You should learn to relax 🧘

Well, if true, so what? It's a job and for most not a political appointment. I guess you're saying that Democrats will be fired because they are democrats and not for a work-related reason. At least you admit this is what you want to see happen.

I'm not a Trumper, but the federal government has a lot of dead weight in personnel. There's no way that Trump can clear all the dead weight, but hopefully, with Elon's help, Trump can remove most of the underperformers.

I’m not a Trumper but I blindly parrot MAGA talking points. LOL.

Not a Trumper either but there IS dead weight and has been for years. Have had friends come in as political appointees (Dems, mind you) and be frustrated beyond belief by the clearly incompetent and unmotivated. I don't want a patronage system of nothing but political hacks, but would like to see the ability to fire the underperforming greatly streamlined. Along with requiring the feds to go back to the physical office. It is obscene to me that you can sit in your PJs at home getting paid and only have to show up at the office once every two weeks.

Do you think that the federal government is willing to lease enough office space to bring all of the employees back in? They seem to be going in the opposite direction at my agency.

Fixed it for you.

If the previous PP believes that it's okay for "Vivek and Elon" to monitor posts on an anonymous board that may have been written by federal workers who are Dems, then the authoritarian mind control is working well, at least with this poster. One of the way authoritarian governments stay in control is by instilling fear in the populace and encouraging the feeling that they are being monitored at all times.
