Tinfoil hat much?

DP but I think it was well placed comic relief, Boris. Maybe it loses something in the translation. My local paper is still nattering about the sub on the front page rather than Russia/Ukraine.

We found the submersible just in time. Cleared that up so that we're all ready to focus on the next news. Well done, Navy and Coast Guard. Perfect timing.

It’s a long shot. Definitely a diversion from war in Ukraine that helps Ukraine refortify and recover more of its land.

No. It all depends on which way the Russian air forces goes. They may just stand down or join the rebels.

You seriously think the Russian Air Force will bomb its own cities? Get real. They could, but that will be the last thing they ever do. Once word of that spreads, there will be no Russia anymore and it's disintegration into anarchy won't take two years - it'll be two months.

Lol, they've already done that

Wagner has already shot down 5-10 Russian Aircraft in the past 24 hours.

The right wing kooks are losing their minds, calling Prigozhin's rebellion a "CIA coup"

Complete WACKJOB.

Wagner was built up with funds from Putin, not the US. Hilarious that Loomer wants to deflect away from a disaster of Putin's own making. The copium is flowing.

The choppers? I'm talking jets. If they used jets to attack Wagner on Russian soil, that would be.. wow.

Oh yes they will bomb their own cities. If you do not know that you are very naive.

It's a coup attempt

It's led by Yevgeny Prigozhin. He runs the Wagner Group, which is a mercenary force that has long been used by Russia to advance its interests in Syria and Africa. They are known for their brutality. There is a core group of soldiers but they are mostly made up of convicts. Prigozhin himself spent years in prison in the 80s for I believe robbery.

The Wagner Group has been heavily involved in the war in Ukraine, particularly in Bakhmut, which was the main front for many months. Tens of thousands of soldiers on both sides lost their lives there. Prigozhin has been very vocal in his criticism of regular Russian forces, in particular the Minister of Defense, Sergei Shoigu. This led to armed conflict between regular Russian forces and Wagner.

It's clear this coup attempt has been planned for a long time. Prigozhin is a war criminal, but he's extremely smart and charismatic. The immediate cause of this mutiny was the Russian army destroying a Wagner camp well behind the lines. Allegedly, more than 2000 Wagner soldiers died

And so now he's rolling towards Moscow.

It's unclear whether Putin and Shoigu command the loyalty of regular Russian military forces. Years of corruption, incompetence, and losses in Ukraine have taken their toll

Thus the drama

You forgot to add:

Putin is a master strategist. Everything in the Ukraine war is going to plan. Ukrainians are a”Nazis.

A significant part of the Russian forces in ukraine which is a private army suddenly turns back into Russia and takes one of the border cities (no victims). The head demands talks with the army top officials. The talks take place. Not clear what’s next. Many cities are on high alert; roads between them blocked.
Not much change for ordinary civilians going about their day

This is the best pro-Russian spin you can do? lol. You need to talk to your own propagandists, since they seem to be taking it seriously?

Today, Solovev returned from visiting the Ukrainian front line troops..

"All the questions I heard today were about one thing - what's happening back home in the rear?"
"Are we really going to allow civil strife now? And lose our country?"
"We could lose our country. There's nothing more frightening than civil war."
https://twitter.com/i/status/1672364115417788418

Solovev was pretty morose even before the Wagner rebellion.

"Yesterday I was talking to very serious people who hold high government positions. They have a total understanding of these times we're in. They don't have the slightest illusions. It's very important for people to hot have illusions."
[5:32 / 8:46] [6:15 / 8:46] [7:05 / 8:46] Outtakes of his emotional state. Look closely at his eyes and facial expressions.

How is it pro Russian? Just because I don’t believe it’s anything serious? Well they are already turning back away from Moscow, keep up

My own two cents is the regular Russian army and Russian people would have to turn against Putin before a real coup could occur. I don’t believe Prigozhin has the manpower to march to Moscow and take over the Kremlin. I also don’t see Putin’s government removing him. This will definitely affect the war in Ukraine.

You know Russia well but you don’t understand it at all. Why would people turn against Putin? They want to be left alone. They are tired of all this turmoil. They want to keep the status quo.
This thing will be over in a couple days

Why would it be wow? If they do not deploy the Air Force against them all Russian leadership is done. You think Putin will treat the Wagner group like Garland treated the J6’ers? It is now win and live or lose and die for both side. For the Russians it is the leadership who will be killed. For Wagner is everyone of them.

Don’t know how many Russians soldiers will put their butts if the line for their leadership. The Russians leadership has treated them like cannon fodder.

Sorry, cupcake. I'm not naive at all. This is not about the 'plausible deniability' bombings, this is about using Russian military jets (bombers, fighters) to bomb Russian cities deep inside Russia in civilian locations. There are limits and lines that cannot be crossed, or there will be widespread panic within the country. If a full-out fight develops, the panic you're seeing now at railway stations and airports will turn into an outright exodus.

Roll back the clock a month. Remember the outrage and shock by the propagandists that a border area was attacked? This goes way, way beyond that. This goes to Putin's inability to deliver safety and security. That, my friend, is the point of no return.

Disinformation is normal for both Russia and their puppet, Belarus.

I will believe it when it appears on BBC news (they have excellent coverage of the Ukraine conflict, BTW).
