We are certainly not living in the Jim Crow era. There are a lot of black cops in the cop on black victim scandals and they are continuously involved and prosecuted if they wrongly kill a black person however people only pay attention if there were any white cops involved discounting the black cops.

THAT is the REAL reason that police are wary of black males -- because too many black males commit too many violent crimes. CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR -- that is the real reason for "racial profiling" -- NOT "racism." True. It's not "okay", but cops often face dangerous people and there is a thing called self defense. Of course it is never ever okay to shoot when no clear and immediate threat is posed. This is why we need unbiased investigation. It is good that the feds are taking over the investigation in Baton Rouge.
