Why are American blacks always having issues with the Police?

I'm not black but a minority. Why is it always (mostly 95%) that blacks are having issues with the local police? I don't see Asians, Hispanic, African (African immigrants), indian, Arabic, etc is the news getting shot, mets.

Wow, the STFU response, right off.

On the other hand, does this board really need a separate discussion on race? Especially on lead by two "I'm a non-black minority" types, who wear their genetic make-up like a lame and outdated post-modern badge of credibility on race issues in America?

More white people are shot by police than African American people. A friend's brother--whom I know, gentle (white) guy--was beaten up indiscriminately by Chicago police officers and needed medical care afterwards.

But the data are also clear: African Americans are *DISPROPORTIONATELY* killed by police officers at something like 2.5 times white people.

So there's a problem. A serious problem.

OP. Clearly it is b/c they have the nerve to walk around in public with their dark skin, going about their day like everyone else.

WTF is wrong with you? Who says "blacks"? Why are you trying to stir the pot.

Does it make you happy to be a jerk?

It is. OP, there has been structural racism in this country since its founding. Particularly against blacks, moreso than other minorities. Read The New Jim Crow if you want some serious insight into the history of it.

Or the elderly Indian man going for a walk in his son's neighborhood and was body slammed and seriously injured by a police officer.
