And sat by her window waiting for the single occasion OP drove by her house, waited a couple of months, then went to a courthouse? I have a bridge to sell anyone who believes that.

Seriously. OP is a troll, clearly.

This thread wasn't created to show my remorse or lack of. It was to address the issue at hand. This wasn't a thread to be attacked or my personal character judged. It was just a thread to ask a simple question about TRO's. That has been answered. Thank you

So why bring up the affair at all? You could have said: an unfounded restraining order has been filed against me. Please advise.

OP, please be totally honest on this, okay? Couldn't you have went a different driving route the day of question? Were you secretly hoping you would see your ex-AP or maybe even piss off his wife in the process...??

That being said, I do not see a judge granting a protective order just based on what drive-by incident, however I am not sure what other dirt she has on you.

I do not think timing will factor into this very much as intent will.

Regardless, make sure you appear in court ready to contest this order. Do not lose your cool + present yourself as a stable and calm person who did a stupid thing by having the affair.

Because if the judge does agree to grant the order, it will not bode well on your public record at all.

Thank you for your reply. There is only one way to get to the potential employer. I even printed out a mapquest map showing the only route was the route I took. I am completely over the affair and I am the one that ended it. I have not replied to his texts messages or phone calls since ending things in December.

I didn't know people still used Mapquest- try Google Maps. Or download Waze. Seriously.

Clearly OP's AP has a type.

Side question here... Can anyone file a request for a restraining order, or does someone need to first agree you have good cause? How does it all work?
Sorry, OP.

This thread is good for you since it will help you realize the questions the judge may have.

Unless their house is on a deadend street with the potential employer at the end of the deadend you had another way to go.

Start there because if the potential employer is by their house you are now in a while different realm of shit.

No judge now, in the age of the Internet, thinks you don't have any idea where his house is. Drop that line too.

Yea yea yea
But anyways. If he's continued to text you etc ... Take that as proof his been trying to contact you not the other way around. I'm vindictive so I'd file against him.

You know his probably shtooping somebody else and saying its you to throw his wife off the scent.
