23:42 - I hope what your ex is doing turns out to be a phase that passes quickly and then she starts making better choices! Not to be a judgy mcjudgerson - if people want to have fun, that's cool. I actually know a couple of people who met their spouses on craigslist. But if she's meeting strangers who scare her, that could turn ugly.

7:58 - I know women who will go for the FWB situation when they're not in a real relationship! The key is that most women have an idea in their head of what makes a guy suitable for a long-term thing. If you don't fit that idea in some way but you are cool to hang out with and treat them well, they will often be your FWB. My last FWB was someone who "doesn't do" relationships and never wants kids or stepkids - both of those things make him incompatible with me - but he's a cool guy so we had a good FWB thing going for awhile. The one before that was too neurotic for me, prefers a DC condo over an Arlington house and he's Jewish. (I'm Episcopalian.) Those differences would have made a real relationship difficult, but other aspects of his personality (funny, very smart) made him a great FWB.

I do not understand how people are too exhausted to have sex. If its a weeknight it takes no longer that a shower to have sex. Speaking of showers, we quite often multitask and have sex in the shower.

I think it's great when two low drive people find each other. However being a working woman in a predominantly male industry there are loads and loaes of people having affairs. I'm sure this is what keeps one of the "happy" partners happy in a sexless marriage.

I agree. I'm in the defense industry, and the testosterone just flies. And it's not just the men having affairs, either.

Hello Straw Man! What percentage of low drive spouses who don't look for ways to meet their spouses half way do you suppose are undergoing chemo (or any other legitimate medical issue)?
