Total shut out for PS 3:
Barnard 27 West 29 Bancroft 114 CH Montessori 103 Powell Dual 66 Takoma 86 Maybe we'll luck out with charters. A girl can dream. Anyone think I have a shot with Barnard or West with those WL numbers? |

Not sure that Ross would be worth the change in our commute |

I don't know, because we got into Barnard last year for PS3 straight up, but it is a great school and you will love it. |

We're going to Hearst (in-bounds). Seriously people, give it a shot, it's an awesome little school, and the building is being totally rehabbed over the summer (plus a new building next year). Great principal too. I think in a year or two it's going to be the next big thing. |

yes, we were in the 70's for PK at Hearst last year and got a call in early August. We ended up turning it down because at that point we were already enrolled at Janney (our inboundary school). Good luck!! (but I think your odds are overwhelmingly good). |

Doubt Ross will be an option for you. Very little movement the OOB with sibling will be lucky to get in, but if they do and there is another opening one of the 7 that are walking distance will snatch that up. You have some other great numbers though with WL that tend to move more. |
