You can at least take comfort knowing you’ll have plenty of company when you’re roasting eternally in Hell ![]() |
Exactly. |
First Amendment would keep that from being a form of harassment. |
And you all were so sure that Youngkins policies had nothing to do with why teachers were leaving.
The man thinks this is Florida. He's started a literal war against teachers and the public schools. |
I support this and I am a democrat. |
And why would that be? |
+1000 All for it. |
That's right. Thank you for caring about respecting my two daughters, who do not want to have to deal with males in their restrooms and locker rooms, and on their sports teams. |
Just know that this policy means trans males will be in their bathrooms and on their teams. |
So? By definition, trans males are really women, so what's the problem with that? |
Well, I can only assume that when someone looking like a boy walks out of the girls bathroom you’re going to find a reason to complain. |
Nope. Wouldn't bother me a bit. And who is to say that this someone "looks like a boy?" Maybe she just looks like a girl with really short hair who is wearing boy's clothes? |
First Amendment rights don't protect my ability to say whatever I want in the classroom. Once I start accepting a paycheck, and being paid to speak to children, I need to say certain things, and avoid saying certain things. For example I could be disciplined or fired for things like: Calling kids derogatory names Telling the kids answers to controlled tests Teaching kids that 1 + 1 = 7 or that there wasn't really a Holocaust. Sadly, if I taught in VA, Youngkin thinks I should be disciplined or fired for telling kids the truth about history. This is not a first amendment situation. |
Bet you also didn’t know that Virginia had the only county in the US tk close its schools for 5 years instead of integrating. VA has an extremely racist past. People don’t realize how “southern” VA really is 🤷♀️ |
