This dude is an unhinged LWNJ troublemaker. Sorry if I'm not too sympathetic that he's been banned.

What you folks don't realize is that after you vote these people into power and they change the laws, push the interpretation of the laws to the absolute limit, line their pockets, and pack the courts, etc. to stay in power is that you become as powerless as all the people you want them to stick it to to vote them out.

It’s not just about this one guy, although he shouldn’t ban that one guy either. That list has no one from The Miami Herald, The Tampa Bay Times, The Orlando Sentinel, the Florida Times-Union, Politico or any local TV news channel, but is replete with RWNJs.

Agreeing with someone politically doesn't mean you want to "stick it" to anyone. Do you want to "stick it" to people you disagree with?

Oh? He talks about freedom and choice and then berates kids for wearing masks. https://abcnews.go.com/Health/wireStory/florida-governor-admonishes-students-wearing-face-masks-83212180

DP. He wasn’t berating them, you twit. He was expressing exasperation with the ridiculous mask rules at the time. But you know that.

DP He was critical and mocking of students who CHOSE to wear masks at a time when everyone was free to wear one or not wear one according to their own judgment. He accused them of "covid theater" trying to make them feel stupid for wearing a mask. That's how he runs Florida.

He looked like a jerk for harassing kids to score political points.

I love this. It's just a political "disagreement" when you're picking and choosing the news outlets that cover your official government actions, or when you enact laws against gays. This isn't a political disagreement. It's a fundamental disagreement about how society should function. I'm against fascism, light or heavy, but you do you.

And my point still stands - once you vote these people into power you won't be able to vote them out.

The ultra conservatives have been busy setting up infrastructure in DC so not to be as flatfooted like in 2016. They are ready and waiting to support either Trump or DeSantis. Media portrayals of Desantis like to paint him as the next Trump, but I think he would be better on some issues such as foreign policy. He is an opportunist just like Trump, but I think there is benefit to having someone who is smarter and more rational as opposed to ego and grievance driven. Trump will have learned from his first term and be more effective at grift and destruction if he is in again.

And he looked frazzled and pathetic and weak while doing it.

But the GOP cult probably loved it and thought it made him look tough. Tough against...masks?

There were no mask rules in Florida at the time, dumbass.
