+1. Also their behavior. If they were concerned for his well being, they'd be out there searching the reserve. They'd be making a public appeal for help, they'd ask Brian to turn himself in. They would not be shielding themselves behind a lawyer.

This morning Chris Laundrie mowed parts of his lawn, used the weedeater around Gabby's memorial on the corner of their yard. If you have time to watch, this is the weirdest lawn mowing job ever! It's so overgrown, a bit of the front, no the side, a bit of weed wacking, eh, just leave it halfass.

That’s not so weird, they’re grieving and in shock.

Their behavior is damning, however, anyone would mow funny if cameramen were circling to them while they mowed. That would be maddening.

Because no one can survive outdoor elements for this amount of time.
Brian would have gotten to the point where jail would seem like a much welcome respite for him.

Shelter, access to clean/hot water for bathing, 3 square meals per day, security + even access to T.V.
Plus historically - the vast majority of people who kill their partners usually end up dying by their own hand one way or another.

Unless they think they can pull off an O.J. Simpson & get away w/the perfect murder.
I think Chris Watts was banking on that initially.
So was Scott Peterson.
But Brian Laundrie pretty much knew once Gabby was found deceased > he could not deny killing her like other perpetrators did.

So he purposely died by his own hand.
And he made darn sure he kept the authorities guessing by not dying in a common area.
It is likely he allowed a gator 🐊 to eat him or got eaten by a sea creature.

Sadly, Gabby’s family will never get the answers they so deserve.

What? My son spent five months on the Appalachian Trail with what he could fit in his 55 pound backpack. He hiked from Georgia to Maine. Brian is an experienced hiker. Someone could easily send food forward to hidden locations.

But who in the world would be helping him out??

I am quite sure at this stage in the game, the cops have investigated each + every person that Brian has ever had contact with - even mere acquaintances.
Who would take the risk of aiding him knowing how high the stakes are at this point?
They would be so much better off claiming the reward $$ at currently six figures.

Brian is dead.

I read today that Dog the Bounty Hunter has quit the search for Brian due to an ankle injury.

I believe that as much as I believe Southwest cancelled flights due to weather.
Dog has promised big breaks in this case + his delivery has been nothing but dramatics.
He needs to leave this up to the big boys now and continue shopping for a new reality show.

In other words > Dog stay in your lane and do not….I repeat do NOT quit your day job. 🙊

Dog hurt his ankle and needed medical treatment. He did not quit the search. He is back doing his day job!!

Grieving what? Why haven't they put together search parties for their son? Missing persons posters? Ask the police for updates? Put together a sundown memorial? F**king liars.

I saw that he went and paid Brian’s older sister, Cassie a visit yesterday prior to leaving FL. Does he really think his presence at Brian’s family’s doors will get them to speak to him? He keeps dropping “bombshells” about this case but so far nothing ever materializes. I think he is just hype.

I believe his estranged daughter’s words, that he is just doing all this for the exposure and to stay relevant. He has done nothing great for this case except give it more publicity.

+1

It looks like the neighbors granted the press access to set up their film crews. Laundrie must love that.

Eric Rudolph lasted 5 years in the NC woods before being caught, maybe Brian has similar abilities.

I still don’t understand how this is possible.

He wasn’t completely in the woods the whole time. He was going into town at night getting food from dumpsters and people’s homes and businesses. He was also staying in the many seasonally used cabins in the area when they weren’t occupied. There is also a lot of speculation that he had help though that is questionable. There are too many cameras, cell phones, and other forms of drone etc recording to get away with that these days.

At the time he was caught I recall news interviews from people who owned vacation cabins in the area where he was caught. They reported missing canned goods and other signs that the cabins had been used.

My family owned a cabin in the NC mountains, and I once went there with a friend at the start of summer to find plentiful evidence that it had been used since the last time my family had been there, and very recently (lettuce leaves in the sink that were barely wilted). It was a creepy feeling. Anyway, someone could have lived in that cabin from September through May and we wouldn’t have known, had they cleaned up properly.

Look up Christopher Knight in Maine. He also managed to do this.

I'm just glad I have Bad Art Friend to read these past few days, because I can't believe there still aren't any updates about Laundrie (or that d*mn California hiking family!!!)

Former prosecutor here. I was not convinced BL was guilty of 1st degree until the cause of death came in as Strangulation. That is personal, premeditated, and usually signals murder by a loved one. Crime of passion. This mode of death is damning.

Or they killed him themselves and buried him in the backyard.
