Sadly, Gabby’s family will never get the answers they so deserve.

What? My son spent five months on the Appalachian Trail with what he could fit in his 55 pound backpack. He hiked from Georgia to Maine. Brian is an experienced hiker. Someone could easily send food forward to hidden locations.

I read today that Dog the Bounty Hunter has quit the search for Brian due to an ankle injury.

I believe that as much as I believe Southwest cancelled flights due to weather.
Dog has promised big breaks in this case + his delivery has been nothing but dramatics.
He needs to leave this up to the big boys now and continue shopping for a new reality show.

In other words > Dog stay in your lane and do not….I repeat do NOT quit your day job. 🙊

One thing that makes me question that he’s dead is the fact the parents changed the date they saw him last. That makes me think it points to a cover up of an escape or hiding him.

+1. Also their behavior. If they were concerned for his well being, they'd be out there searching the reserve. They'd be making a public appeal for help, they'd ask Brian to turn himself in. They would not be shielding themselves behind a lawyer.

This morning Chris Laundrie mowed parts of his lawn, used the weedeater around Gabby's memorial on the corner of their yard. If you have time to watch, this is the weirdest lawn mowing job ever! It's so overgrown, a bit of the front, no the side, a bit of weed wacking, eh, just leave it halfass.

They had weeks of lead time to help him disappear, and did so. police know they bought a burner phone. It's not rocket science.

DP. Any number of people could be helping him. His family, criminals (for a price). Anyone. Have you heard of Lester Eubanks? His dad was a pastor and continued to help him for decades. People make terrible decisions for the benefit of their relatives all the time and they aren’t always caught.

I concur that it is highly likely Brian committed suicide. He must have had enormous guilt over killing Gabby. Or at the very least an insane fear of spending his remainder of life locked up. At 23 life in prison with zero chance of parole is a freaking long time.

People read into the things the way they want to. While I probably would have handled things differently, i don’t find their behavior odd.

“They would be searching the reserve” - No, they wouldn’t because they cannot. Police have had the entire reserve closed from public access since he went missing. When the police offered to allow the father to join them for the first time in helping to find him in the reserve, he agreed and went to help. They then told him he couldn’t continue helping them, presumably because of the negative press that arose from when he joined their efforts.

“ They'd be making a public appeal for help” - They did, through the lawyer. He emphasized their support of search efforts and desire for the police to find Brian.

“ They would not be shielding themselves behind a lawyer.” - Granted, I’m a lawyer, but I beg to differ. The smartest thing they can do and what they should do is only speak through the attorney. It’s no secret that a huge portion of the population are vocally calling for them to be charged. In addition, they are key witnesses in a fraud and a potential murder case. They will undoubtedly be subpoenaed to provide testimony regarding these issues. Moreover, they will almost undoubtedly become subject to civil litigation from Gabby’s family. The last thing they should be doing is making public statements. And to be clear, I am not saying they shouldn’t cooperate with police- they should, and Inunderstand they have. But all through their attorney.

We don’t know what Brian told them. For all we know, he could have said nothing or he could have told them it was in self-defense. We simply don’t know. What we do know is that they have no legal obligation to report what they know absent a subpoena, and that not reporting what they know is not a crime. To be clear, this is different from aiding Brian in being a fugitive, which is a crime, but we don’t have actual evidence of that happening.

This reminds me of all the claims about how Gabby’s August Instagram posts were really done by Brian and she was already dead and dissecting the text to support that, only to find out that she was very much alive during all of the posts and the changes in language completely make sense based on her statement in the Moab recordings that she was just starting her blog and at that same time working to make that her career. The timing of more elaborate captions completely makes sense.
