And now trying to create a YJ West group of teams for Fauquier and Prince William county. Just what NOVA needs. More teams to dilute the area. I’m
Sure this will work out well.

To be fair, they should have gone there first. Much less competitive spae.

No player that wants to play at high level would even consider going to this circus.

I can't imagine these teams will be that good. There is just not that much talent in Loudoun/PW compared to FX/Arlington. Few of the Loudoun/PWC rec teams are strong. Pride has a Loudoun program and none of those teams are strong and some are even supplemented with FX players who couldn't make the NOVA A teams.

It’s supply/demand. If there are kids who want to play “club” and there’s no one local then it might work, especially for the younger grades. Currently there are no girls’ club programs in Fauquier or PWC. So families are driving to Alexandria or Fairfax County or to the Richmond area, so depending on coaching, facilities, cost, etc. it may be appealing. Not sure why everyone is hung up on the diluting of talent. Instead maybe focus on the game growing and more kids wanting to play.

Well we will see. It’s for the younger kids so that’s a good start for these areas. As far a talent out this way being weak-don’t tell that to Riverside, Dominion, John Champe, Freedom SR, or Battlefield.

There is definitely talent out in PWC and Loudoun, no question about that. However the programs you list already have all the talent playing for Pride, Stars and Metro for the most part. Those players are never considering YJMA let alone a new division of YJ when MA is already a disaster.

Disaster? You use that word like you know the ins and out of a program that has changed for the better every spring and fall season. I’m a highschool coach and I know who they have and who they don’t. They have more than you believe you know. I’m not trying to get in a back and forth but for someone and I know who you are who’s daughter is still not in highschool you are still pretty wet behind the ears.

Huh?? Are they even a year old?? How many “spring and fall” seasons of change does that add up to?

This thread has me confused. Seems to be two people debating each other over YJMA. The rest of us (and most of Nova) don't care.
