Yellow Jackets Coming to DC?

Let’s just say it starts at the top of house. Embarrassing.

So a coach saying yjma is great, loses all credibility when that coach also reps Dulles south.

What is wrong with Dulles South? It is a rec program. Participation is based on geography and run by volunteers. Compared to what is wrong with some of the clubs they are great.

hyper competitive, disrespectful to opposing teams and officials, elevates winning over sportsmanship.

Boys or girls? Which age and level? I am sure it varies from age to age. The top teams are usually some of the most competitive.

All of the teams behave this way and usually is from the coaches. Having played them both on the boys and girls side, it's first hand that Dulles South really thinks they are the end all be all Rec program and good. Must be a Loudon county thing.

Poach? How dare a club try to fill their rosters with kids who volunteered to leave their old club. I mean the nerve!

Good Spin! Or how about the truth: Where players left YJMA to go to a better club and better opportunity and are happy at their new club. Then YJ tryouts come around and MA coaches call those same players that left, begging them to come back....

I would seriously question YJMA and what they are all about.

They just got a commitment to High Point for one of their 2022s, not bad.

That is awesome for the player considering COVID and the 2022 recruitments! She came to our club from Cardinal this year and is a great kid.

Can't exactly base a club and their recruiting on a player that only came to you for 1 year. Her development did not occur at YJMA.

Obviously YJMA hasn't been around very long but at end of day, that kid played for YJMA and is going to a nice D1 program. Its a feather in their cap.

So where did the new players come from? Where did they leave?

Yellow Jackets as a brand here in Virginia is new but the flu has existed for awhile. It was called Rattlers Lacrosse which was not very competitive.

I think the yellow jackets branding is an attempt to draw some more attention to the club but all the girls on the team currently came from rattlers

The claim that they got a 22 recruited seems strange since rattlers barely had a 22 team. Perhaps the combine with Crash which used to operate in the same area but I believe stopped fielding teams during covid?

Yes, everyone knows that Rattlers was bottom of the barrel and same goes for YJMA now. The 22 commit was from Cardinal and only played 1 season with YJMA.
