Really? I don't think it's a silly idea that slapping somebody on the butt is sexual harassment. Who brought us that idea? Feminism. And I'm grateful, too. When I was in middle school, I was supposed to consider it a compliment when a boy slapped me on the butt. |
No. I did not say he needed to be thrown off a sports team, suspended, that it was sexual assault or that I filed a police report. Someone else assumed and posted his race. I think those are trolls trying to cause trouble. The hysterics that are being blamed on me are not my posts. I'm not hysterical. I'm upset that my daughter is upset, but not hysterical by any stretch. |

From your first post: "These are 12 and 13 year olds, or send the police to do it." You don't think sending the police after a 12 year old boy is hysterical? |
| Anyone who suggest that the police had to be involved with the discipline of a twelve year old child is insane. Repelled by these insane women. |
I explained that like 15 times already. Read the thread. |
Sadly, I have read the entire thread. It is apparent why your DD fell apart in the face of adversity. Like mother/like daughter. |

OP here. I didn't suggest that. I don't get why that's so difficult to understand. |
I suggest you work on your reading comprehension and empathy then. |
| Your very first post referenced sending the police, op. You set the tone of the thread by your hysterics. Read the posts by the individuals who questioned their kids on how to handle the situation. The teens and tweens were so much more mature and logical than the adults on this thread. |
Op, you are still harping about this today. What do you want to have happen to this kid? What happens if you call his parents and they don't care or don't care as much as you do? I totally understand not wanting this kid and his friends to torment your daughter. Are you concerned that he'll do it again? Just trying to figure out what you hope to achieve.. |
Actually, crazy overreactions by other posters set the tone for this thread, and continue to derail it. |
Sorry, op. You were reactionary from the get go. |
|
OP, you have forgotten your original post. You did INDEED mention police.
I'm not sure what to do. A boy ran up and hit her on the butt while his friends cheered him on. She said he's from her middle school, but doesn't know his name. I'd like to find out who he is and have a word with his parents and/or the principal. Advice? These are 12 and 13 year olds, or send the police to do it. |
| This is one of the more insane threads I've seen in DCUM. I'm all for holding peole accountable for their actions, but some posters seem to be rabid. We are talking about children here. OP I wonder why you didn't just stop the boy in his tracks and told him that what he did was wrong and asked him for his name? |
