This is speculation. As far as I am concerned there is nothing that is disrespectful about speculating especially when it is now clear that the police are speculating the same thing! Does that mean that it is true.......NO! But if you are going to solve a crime you have to look at any possible scenario and then narrow it down!

Yeah, I'm sure DCUM posters are going to solve the crime. Here's a newsflash-- you aren't the police and you don't know what the fluck you're talking about.

are you under the delusion that the police are the ONLY ones that solve crimes?

I DON'T KNOW IF YOU HAVE WATCHED THAT ANGELA LANSBURY SHOW BUT IT IS NOT THAT VERY GOOD SO MUCH.

I totally prefer Nancy Drew to Angela Lansbury. Nancy solves way cooler crimes, sometimes there are ghosts!

I'm sure the woman who was murdered fought back and enraged her attackers.

That said, a bell went off in my head immediately when I read that one of them had been called back to the store to open it. It could be that the woman who survived knew the attackers and was also set up. He could have called her and said he left his car keys in the store when he was there earlier and would she come back to get them, and she then called the colleague with the key.

Does anyone remember the murders in the old Chevy Chase building on Old Georgetown Road? The enraged, mental employee that came in with a gun and shot a few people?

This occurred to me too. But the woman who is still alive has been talking to the police so why would she hide this? I suppose she might hide the identity of her attackers if she is afraid they will come and kill her. They are many possible scenarios.

maybe she's told the police and they are keeping it quiet until they arrest them.

just watched the 7 news report at noon and they have no real updates except the reward is now at 142,000....more talk of the forensic evidence being key. They said they have a lot of evidence to get through to see what is useful to them. No mention of inside job or theories. Just basic coverage about the area being effected and frightened employees who work near the store.

Okay but setup for what? $100? This store did not have lots of cash. This stretch in Bethesda reeks privilege, the Apple store is next store, one theory is they were going to nab a few iPads.

Maybe they were going there to rape them and things got out of hand when the one fought back.

Maybe they were taking merchandise?

Did anyone look at that link to the men's board that was posted a few times? I wonder what that one guy is referring to.. the really horrible thing that he doesn't name.. I have a hard time imagining that this could have gotten any worse to be totally honest.

I have a problem with people who call areas "privileged". Some people actually work for what they have and give to charities of their choice. It is no one's business. They are no more "privileged" than the perps were "entitled". I hope they hang 'em high, frankly.

The perps were too stupid to know that most stores don't have much cash these days? Or were they just looking to stalk innocent people? Work for a living, much?

Too many criminals are using the economy as an excuse. I know plenty of people out of work that are not out killing people. WTF?

I just read the thread, interesting. Says the murdered girl's throat was cut. Also says someone named xxxxxxx visited the girl in the hospital. The men are kinda "catty" and actually do pick on one another and call names... just sayin'.
