There is a lot out there and who knows what is truth but apparently the bedrooms of the girls who survived were locked.

One of the surviving girls saw the male victim on the floor when she got up and she ran outside and fainted. Someone called 911 on her. She wasn't actually unconscious but she fainted and was in shock from what she had seen in the house.

How do you know this?

If it is true, why did the police not clarify from the beginning that the unconscious person was not one if the victims? That is not a clue in the case and it just confused everyone.

I thought the survivors were all on the 1st floor and the killer likely entered through the sliding glass door on the 2nd floor.

This, the survivors were in the basement. Victims were on second (main) and third floor.

I saw this photo of the back of the house that made it make more sense — the house was built into a hill and both the first and second floor were both walk out (the first floor on the front, and the second floor on the back).

Why was the FBI involved from the get go for a local crime?

The above is total speculation due to the reports of an “unresponsive” person on the 911 call.

The news reported that one of the girls was killed in a different manner than the others. It was suggested that perhaps she was the target and the others were not.

There may be a break in the case (I hope)..unrelated to the murders, some cops were called around 3am to the field behind the house the victims lived in (I think there was a drunken disturbance), and the cop happened to have body cam on. They were able to identify a vehicle in the area and now are looking for the driver of that vehicle who "may have critical information": https://www.cnn.com/2022/12/08/us/university-of-idaho-student-killings-white-sedan/index.html

This may be a tough case to solve.

How the F is this not solved.?? Crazy.

Such a very sad case. I can't imagine all that their families are going through.
Anonymous
So yeah, 4 people are dead and the cops don't really have anymore leads.

This person is going to get away with it, which is crazy given all our tech and surveillance.

....and UMC white kids in college with media savvy families.

If this was a trailer park murder out in the sticks the FBI wouldn't be involved.

Get off it. If it was near a college, FBI might be involved.

You want your people to matter, do something. Represent them. Don't try to bring every other group down with you.
