The endless effort of the Battlefield posters who are trying to justify the teams schedule is laughable. You played the second weakest schedule of the top 10 6A teams. Those are the facts no matter how you spin the story. From someone who has no skin in the next game I hope you know this all comes across as very insecure. The regular season means little. Championship births are earned during the one and done playoffs. The facts again are, Oakton earned their right to play tomorrow under this format. Battlefield used the candy land express lane playing zero competitive teams. There is little room for argument here. Battlefield had no pressure in the one and done games. I was pulling for Battlefield as an underdog up until all the mindless dribble and pity party parents saying “notice us” chimed in on this board. |
I’d just like to know.. besides Madison, who else would you like to see compete against Oakton? Because I can’t think of any teams that are drastically better than Battlefield… not including Madison. |
Your problems lie with VHSL. Stop using a keyboard as a way to put down teenaged girls. |
The post you are reacting to was not from a Battlefield parent or fan, but rather a Concorde District parent giving well deserved props to both teams. Looks like you have a little egg 🍳 on your face. |
Is time and venue decided yet for final? |
Oakton wins, too many strong club players I noticed on oakton.
Go home battlefield |
Freedom HS near South Riding at 1230 Saturday. Outdoor lax! |

Seems like this is Oakton's year. Based on the youth on rosters, JV success, and how the team improved throughout the season a few contenders for 2024 could be: Langley Madison Yorktown Centerville |
Dumba$$, no one said notice us any time lately. It has been all talk about how soft and weak we are asking with our schedule. So sorry that we are defending the girls from your stupidness |
This is not me taking any crap at all. I truly mean this in all sincerity
If you think your team is so much better than Battlefield, talk to your coach and schedule them for next year. I really don’t understand why you all want to ruin your mouths on this forum when the girls can make the final decisions on the field So yes, schedule them next year so we can put this to bed My daughter isn’t at Battlefield, but I have heard many Fairfax coaches not want to schedule them in a game. That tells me that they are worried. So, stop running your mouth about teenage girls and talk to your coach |
Yeah. Fairfax teams hesitate to schedule PWCS teams because 1, it will be a blowout, or 2, in Battlefield’s case, they don’t want to lose to a pwcs team who are historically not as strong in lacrosse. |
There is no real incentive for Fairfax teams to schedule PWC teams because a win gets you no credit, but a loss carries a lot of criticism. Not saying it should be that way, but that is current reality. |
Amen! |
I’m curious how many girls on Oakton made teams like American Select, UA150, best in class and so on vs Battlefield? |
