Van Lifer couple camping in Utah national park - two weeks later fiancee arrives in FL alone

I think it's smart, regardless, that they released the tapes and garnered this much public interest and concern. Most of the general public would recognize Brian now, so there's an actual chance of him being turned in. Without that, I expect he'd slip off into oblivion. As much as Americans disagree with each other about most everything, there is full consensus that no one wants a probable murderer walking around unfettered.

I feel so bad for them! Those protesters are jerks. “We can’t find Brian, so let’s attack his random sister.”

I feel bad for her because she didn't kill Gabby, she didn't ask for this, and her kids are suffering. But I'm also not certain she is divulging everything she knows. I feel like she might be holding back.

To be more specific, I wonder what she spoke to Brian about at the campground. Surely she asked: Where is Gabby? Brian probably lied.

Right, like imagine the conversation

"Is Gabby coming?"
"Uh, no, she stayed out West with friends, and is coming home later."
"Oh, okay "

And the sister can't say Brian said anything like that because she's been told not to, by lawyers or police or whatever.

Sister said she was surprised he came Home without her but she assumed they broke up and he didn’t want to talk it. Later she found out Gabby was missing.

He's dead. They should be looking for a body.

He flew back to FL for 5 days during the trip to move things out of a storage unit? This is odd. It couldn’t wait until
After his cross country trip? 5 days? Who paid for this? There’s something here.

I agree. This is the most unexplained aspect of the whole story, to me at this stage. Seems really random...

Maybe BL killed Gabby much earlier then people thought. Then he flew home because he panicked. Is there proof that people actually saw Gabby at the restaurant in WY where people said they saw BL arguing with restaurant management? That might have been a different couple.

She face timed with her parents during this timeframe.

The only thing I know for sure about this case is that the police majorly mis-stepped with all their continual, affirmative public statements that Brian was not a suspect and their failure to have him under surveillance.

DP. Unless he died from the elements or random foul pay, I bet he’s alive. If he were going to kill himself there were so many opportunities to do so already.

Plus, his parents aren't acting remotely like they think he is missing because he killed himself.

Because they know where he is. If you knew where he was, you wouldn’t need to look either.

Before he left his parents house for the last time, he didn’t know for sure how everything was going to play out. Then they found gabby’s body, and it became clear that he has no future. I’d say if suicide was something that he was considering, finding her body may have been the catalyst he needed to do it.

He knew they would find the body. He didn’t bother to hide it very well.

Doubt he's dead. His parents are up to their necks in protecting him. They even lied to the FBI to give him as much of a head start as possible.

I give it 50% chance he died, and not by suicide. It's dangerous being homeless in nature. Animals, accidental injury, 3rd party actor. Maybe he met his fate quickly at Carlton Reserve unintentionally, and his bones are buried under water and muck or in an alligator belly.
