They're children. We won't be seeing their names.

Ah, yes, the inevitable characterization of them as “children.” Pretty good punch for a “child”.

LOL you're an idiot if you believe that

You are a delusional imbecile to refer to them as children.

It's interesting that a couple of posts about how people might not want to alert the officer about this behavior because they might become a viral internet "sensation" were deleted while a thread about the "Becky" meme of white women calling the police on innocent black people is going strong.

I didn't see those posts, but this seems like a distraction from the actual issue. If you see anyone you think is committing a crime, just walk away and call 911. If you don't engage/confront them, then you won't be a "Becky" meme. But if you want to make a big show of confronting them -- then yeah, you may be recorded.

The kids were just being obnoxious and intimidating. Asking someone to give you a dollar is not a crime. What exactly was that poster supposed to report? What exactly was security supposed to do even if they got that report.

Yeah, it used to be that if a group of teens was acting wild and disrespectful they could be asked to leave BEFORE something bad happened. Those days are long gone, at least in Frederick.

Huh? You can absolutely be asked to leave a venue for being "obnoxious and intimidating." Or the police/guards can just walk along with them until they chose to leave on their own.

O.k. and the kids can in turn video tape the guards following them and post that all over the internet - harassment. Kids like that know how to get away with murder...quite literally.

Look, if our brave police and law enforcement feel they have no other option between shooting unarmed black kids, and letting them run around an intimidate people in public gatherings because they are scared of being filmed, then I don't know what to say. Personally I believe that our law enforcement ought to have more training or better selection if that's the case.

News/Police will not release the names because they are minors.

I'm sure word of mouth will get around though. The school they attend and the specific sport they play for that school has been stated in the news.

Frederick News Post also stopped giving an eff, and named the dad. But I cannot find the kids' names. I work in FCPS (MD) and am annoyed I cannot figure it out lol, but I refuse to ask any of my students.

Just tellin' it like it is. The 15 year old child can not be tried as an adult and they aren't going to try the 16 year old as an adult.....and that's a fact. Do I think that's right? Oh, hell no.

But if these kids get a hand slap they could be back at the fair next year raising hell again. That sure does give you the warm fuzzies doesn't it?

You'll find out from a teacher, staff member or parent. Give it time.

Those little rascals won't be incognito for long.

What’s the plan when we find out their names?

I guess the teachers at that school will start to wear head and chest protection in anticipation of their return.

It’s already been stated that the boys will be charged as adults.

Oh, well that’s possible. I just thought from the tone of previous posters that there was a DCUM Justice League being organized and planning to do something upon learning the assailants identities.

Last I saw, they can't charge the 15 year old as an adult. Not in Maryland.
