Man dies after unprovoked attack by teens at Frederick fair

I live in Frederick and this news story is just really disturbing. A man was visiting the fair, and two teen boys assaulted him. Eyewitness reports say it was unprovoked. He died the next day. I just don’t understand what is happening in our world.

There's a video - it looks like there was some kind of confrontation. The teens knocked him and he quickly feel to the ground, probably hit his head very hard. It was short, not a prolonged attack. But awful, nevertheless.

For the life of me, I do not understand what compels people with the Y chromosome to do this sort of thing. Yes of course "not all men" but violence (random or otherwise) is an overwhelmingly male phenomenon. And it's a problem.

Amazing. Same day this happens: we have pictures of the suspects, see them arrested, know their school, know where they live.

Yet, the men who sucker-punched a Capitol Hill staffer four months ago and left him for dead are what...ghosts?

The charge was aggravated assault. After he died, they are probably going to upgrade to at least manslaughter. Those boys are going to Jessup.

NP. I saw the video and there is no confrontation on the actual video. The video sounds like it is being recorded by a younger black female (based on the inflections/sound of her voice). To me, it seemed like she had the video going in order to record the attack; she even says something like “ooh, that was a good one”, with excitement in her voice after her friend punched the guy.

I’m not going to help others discover the video out of respect for the victim and his family.

OK, if hormones are the excuse, men have testosterone, and not just a few times per lifetime as with pregnancy, but all the time after puberty. And believe me, testosterone really Fs with your head (see: teenagers, male, frequent misbehavior of). You could even call this crime a case in point!
