For the person who felt that the FBI should be investigated, here’s a different take on the Barr summary: https://mobile.twitter.com/SethAbramson/status/1109913558333210629

He is a disgrace to his country. My opinion on Putin is not black and white; in fact I thought there was collusion - I am happy there wasn’t.
Now can everyone leave Russia alone?
The fact that there was no collusion just proves how democrats are completely removed from an average Joe. They lost because they they didn’t care for anything except looking progressive. Now they are at it again: reparations, illegal amnesty/welcoming hordes of unvetted illiterate masses who will be a burden on taxpayer for years; shoving non traditional candidates down peoples throats.
Who needs Russia if dems are so good at digging their own graves?
It is also sad that there is no alternative really. Republicans are so backwards with their pro life views and fascination with religion. Trump at least does not sincerely believe any of that, he just cares about his own good. Who is there to like and vote for?
Please please American people leave my country alone and focus on your own problems.

If you don't like what America is saying about Russia then feel free to go back.

If you do go back, would you please take a few crazies like PP with you?

TIA

I believe Russia meddled. But I also think they always have meddled. And why wouldn't they? They are an economic rival.

+1.

Same as the US has interfered in dozens if not hundreds of foreign elections, and this has little to do with Russia & Trump.

Let's find a new scapegoat.

Witches?

Martians? You can't PROVE they didn't 'hack the election'!

1) For a political candidate to ask a foreign government to hack into the emails of a political opponent or an opposing political party. (Proof exists for this act and we all saw it)
2) For allies of a political candidate to ask for these emails to be selectively leaked at times that are most likely to help the political candidate (I thought the Stone indictment indicated this is what he did- that he was "directed" by an unnamed person to do so)
3) for the campaign manager of a Presidential candidate to Share highly sensitive and detailed polling information with the operative of a foreign country's spy agency. (we know this from court filings)

I would hope that people from both parties could agree that this kind of behavior should not be acceptable going forward and that it simply invites malign foreign governments to interfere in our elections.

This is all a political question.

The people decided. We're okay with all of this.

If so the future of the Republic is dark. I am saddened by your response

That Hillary was too arrogent to do the basic campaigning that would have counteracted Russia's weak ass efforts doesn't make me feel better.

We're still left with the same scenario, a moron as a president who is hurting America and d-bag ex-candidate whose fault it is.

Arrogent? That’s not autocorrect.

She never went to MI or WI and thought microtargeting Detroit and Philly through Jay Z and Beyonce was all she needed to do. Russia influenced a few thousand people (whether convincing them to vote for Trump or not at all) but we should never have been in a situation where that mattered. Let's call spades a spade. Russia did swing the election, Trump did encourage it (without knowing the big picture - he was a useful idiot). However none of it would have mattered or been effective without Hillary doing what she did. That's the sad truth, Russia and Trump.wefe just as shocked it worked as the rest of us.

1) On the #NoCollusion findings of Mueller's report. It's worth recognizing that this is more than an exoneration. It's a searing indictment of the FBI.

2) If you are going to investigate a presidential campaign, and on a charge as grave as collusion, and with the heavy-handed tactics the FBI employed--you'd better have a highly convincing reason to act. The Mueller report is a judgment that never was any real evidence.

3) The Papadopoulos conversation was always thin gruel. And the Mueller findings now prove the dossier was a fabrication. The country now deserves a full accounting of how the FBI blew this so badly--so that it doesn't happen again.

4) If Mueller has done his job, he will address some of this. But the real accounting needs to come from a full declassification of FBI/DOJ probe docs. Mueller report is only half the story. Time to go back to the beginning, to how we got a special counsel in first place.

Time to remind people: the FBI operates without a legal charter. It was hatched by Teddy Roosevelt to pursue his agenda. It's time we re-examine the frightening powers we give to law enforcement and the intelligence agencies.

In early 2016, Peter Strozk was just a section chief, and Andy McCabe the head of a FBI field office. The fact that they could start an investigation against a presidential candidate of a major party during an election year, largely based on the opposing party's "research", shows the enormous unchecked power of unelected buracrats.

People will lose faith in our institutions if John Brennan, James Comey, Andy McCabe and Peter Strozk are not investigated. The same rigor from Mueller needs to apply here.
