WASHINGTON, March 24 (Reuters) - Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russian meddling in the 2016 election did not find that any U.S. or Trump campaign officials knowingly conspired with Russia, according to details released on Sunday.

Attorney General William Barr sent a summary of conclusions from the report to congressional leaders and the media on Sunday afternoon. Mueller concluded his investigation on Friday after nearly two years, turning in a report to the top U.S. law enforcement officer.

Mueller investigation finds no Trump campaign conspiracy with Russia

After taking the weekend to pore over the Mueller report, Attorney General William Barr has sent Congress his summary of the "principal conclusions" from the special counsel's 675-day investigation into the Trump campaign's ties to Russia.

The bottom line: "[T]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities." On the question of obstruction of justice, Barr writes that while Mueller's report "does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him."

Of course not. NOW do you believe him?

I am glad it’s over. Democrats need to focus on 2020.

This actually helps Trump. Mueller did his job, and found that Trump is clean.

No direct collusion.

Yet the 6 criminal indictments of key, high ranking Trump staff still shows that Trump's operation is a criminal trainwreck and that they didn't mind the Russian intervention in undermining American democracy.

And the remainder of the 34 indictments show that the Russians were hard at work to destroy the American elections process regardless of whether there was any direct collusion or not.

None of that goes away and it is still damning for Trump.

No, Trump isn't "clean." He just didn't directly, knowingly collude with Russians. But he is by no stretch "clean."

Not really. What is damning is the fact that liberals are *still* desperately clinging to any sliver of hope that Trump will be implicated. I guess it hasn't quite sunk in yet that this isn't going to happen. Don't you realize how incredibly stupid you all look?

Is that what the SC said?

Now it's "knowingly". Let's move the goal posts again.

Good point. Let’s not forget what all this mueller business was about: cleanliness.

No. This is accurate:
"SC investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with the Russian Govt. in its election activity."
And, later added.... "despite multiple offers from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign."

They can't. We just removed the goal posts so they can't move them anymore.

That was worth $35 million.
