4) Be convicted by a kangaroo student group that is entirely biased against them on the "preponderance of the evidence" standard

Why can the conservatives that post here and the conservative media machine not understand any nuance. It's all black and white for them. Open borders or closed borders. No guns or all guns all the time! Support the police without question or condemn the police without question. Support the military without question or shut down the military.

There are many shades of grey between these positions. The liberals I know want each of these issues to be tackled with smart solutions that try to balance efficiency and effectiveness without losing sight of treating people with respect. I can want security at our borders that also treats the people that come here looking for a better life with care and respect. I can want common sense gun control measures without thinking we will take all guns away from everyone. I can be supportive of a police force without being willing to tolerate individual cases of undo force. I can support the military while also demanding that tax dollars be spent wisely and EVEN MORE IMPORTANT, that our active military be treated well and deployed judiciously and that our veterans be properly cared for when they return home. These are peoples' lives we are talking about. The same goes for the environment and government regulations that protect clean water, clean air etc.

Actually men are 2 x more likely to be a victim of violant assault vs women. Also if you look at the statistics coming out of prisons more men are raped in the US vs women. If you are truly and honestly more concerned about the men in your life being falsely accused of a sexual crime than you are for justice for the women who actually experience sexual crimes, then I fear you are a friend to no one.

4) Be convicted by a kangaroo student group that is entirely biased against them on the "preponderance of the evidence" standard

By the same token, you can find a devastating number of stories of women whose complaints were ignored and swept under the rug to protect the school or who were otherwise re-vicitimized by the administrators at their school.

The fact is, cases of harassment or assault should be handled by the local authorities, not colleges/universities, so that the rights of all parties can be protected.

And to be clear, the number of women who have suffered VASTLY outpaces the number of men.
