How is anyone even taking OP seriously?  This post shows either a)  this person is not very intelligent if they can't reconcile that people can have different ideas and still be "good"  b)  they are trying to shame anyone who identifies with the Republican by saying they in fact by default evil.

I am a moderate registered Independent.  I have plenty of friends on both parties who are excellent people, good to the core.  And I also know lots of jerks in both parties who I unfriend in equal amounts.
