If they win they played trash teams if they do not they stink and yet every time a Madlax parent has to comment. ML parents are so striving for attention it is funny how now one else comments on a post about feedback about Madlax. Yet, post about VLC, CAV, Next Level, or DCE and out comes the Madlax posts. I think parents even post negative about their own club just to get the post about ML. How else would they know all of this insider information about cheating and events that happens at ML games. |
Here's a post about Madlax. They cheat and they cheat year over year. Last year, the entire organization had to forfeit their games at Hershey because they used older division players in younger divisions. Yet Hershey let them back in this year. They had 3 sixteen year olds playing on an 8th grade team in this year's HoCo league. Those kids will be 20 years old entering their senior year of high school and will be ineligible to play high school sports. They had to forfeit in the playoffs this year of the 5th grade division when it was discovered they had 15 sixth graders on the roster. It's not insider information. When you see 1-0 scores posted in tournaments people ask questions. HoCo is also very honest about answering questions related to teams and rosters. They aren't hiding state secrets and don't particularly like how much time and attention has to be given to ML's cheating. It's embarrassing to them and the sport. |
| I was at the Hershey tournament this weekend and I was listening to a couple of the guys running the event who were talking specifically about MadLax and making sure certain kids weren't playing across teams. |
| How did Cav's do with 2020 college commits? Is there any activity with the 2021 class as well? |
Cav's are waiting until all the other clubs are done posting 2020 commits. The they will check to see if any of these kids ever played for or against or even tried out for a Cav team, even if it was when they were only 8 years old. Then they will list them as CAV commits. |
While I don't agree with Cav's putting former youth players on their commit list, I would not have an issue with them giving a shout out, congrats to "former Cavalier players" committing to XYZ. That would garner the same attention and respect without being misleading. You shouldn't forget where you came from in life and always remember and acknowledge who helped you along the way. |
| That's that everyone gets a trophy mentality |
|
I think everyone that helped your kid along the way has a stake in the final outcome.
My son would not have earned a spot on his current team if it hadn't been for what he learned along the way with other teams and coaches. There will be many people to thank on signing day. It certainly wont just be his current club and school coach. |
| With that, do they have any 2020 commits? |
Player(s) listed actually changed their commitment to different colleges than listed on Cavs site. Big picture - some kids that played for Cavs for some period of time play in college. |

| Younger Cav teams dominant this weekend. They will change the landscape in the next few years |
Where? |
| They weren't playing Crabs, Looneys, FCA, Madlax Cap, etc. because they weren't at the MD Tourney. Plus, you know that half the good goalies are at some hockey thing. Is this another case of Cavs win a tournament that no one goes to and then decide they're #14 in the country? |
Which teams are you referring to? |
