Feedback on Cavaliers Travel Lacrosse

I was referring to just youth lacrosse but I see your point.

If Cavs merge with TC, they’ll knock out VLC.

TC and Cavs practice 30 miles away from each other so that's highly hypothetical- we should be happy there's options for boys travel lacrosse

I find it weird that Cavs claims to of had multiple D1 prospects in their program when they clearly did not. Inside Lacrosse club profile Cavs states that Jacob Angelus of Blackwolf, Blake Rodgers of VLC and Jack Posey of VLC are all Cavs alumni. If you look at those players recruiting profiles dating back to 2015 or their current college profile none of them ever mention Cavs. Would love to hear the explanation on this one.

Maybe they did not make the Cav’s the next season and moved on??

LOL nobody "doesn't make the Cavs"... and if they couldn't, they wouldn't be on BW or VLC.

Not associated with the Cavs. Never had a kid play for them. But my kids played for lots of other clubs growing up before settling on one in high school. All clubs and their coaches contributed to my kids’ development. If they want to list them as a former player who went in to play college, fine by me.

But they should be honest b/c they did nothing wrt helping the child get recruited.

So by that take, Florida State can claim Randy Moss as an alum because he played there briefly.

And to follow up on my comment above, the article was about how the Cavs produced top level collegiate players and that’s simply not true with those players.

This is a stretch but did these 3 players play for HS teams that had Cav coaches? But you're right, this appears to be false advertising.

Maybe they coached them in youth rec ball?

All 3 played for Cavs, ask them. I’m sure they are proud of their time with Cavalier and it was fun for them. Yes they moved on to other clubs but really why does it bother everyone that Cavs claim them, I’m sure those 3 have no problem with it.

I’ll do one better, there are 5 or 6 more D1 players from the early years of Cavalier.
