To people frustrated with Biden who say they won’t vote in 2024

That’s fine. Just don’t complain when the result is that trump actively encourages Israel to kill innocent Palestinian children.

You always talk about Palestinian children like every other society in the world doesn't have children. Your mentioning of children over and over is not compelling and make you sound simple.

Considering you’re a Republican, you never started with Biden. But hey if you want to refrain from voting for Trump for a third time, sure, write in Kennedy or Mickey Mouse.

I don’t think you will find your dream pro-Hamas candidate.

Yeah this is definitely how you will build consensus around your preferred candidate— tell people who question his policies that they’re supporting terrorism. Isn’t that the Bush ‘04 playbook?

You are delusional if you don’t see that the U.S course is the only hope for a plausible peaceful solution. You need to be told so maybe you will stop saying ridiculous things.

Yeah peace would have been completely out of reach and unimaginable if the President spent some effort on the American children now trapped in Gaza. Now peace is just around the corner.

Most people are done with Trump and Biden but let's hope an alternative candidate with more universal appeal than Kennedy enters the race.

Vote for whomever you want, but be prepared to deal with the consequences, because either Biden or Trump will be president. And don't whine afterwards.

Tired of dealing with privileged narcissists.

You’re right there’s a lesson here but it isn’t for the people who voted for Bernie. The lesson is for the Democratic Party:
No One Owes You Votes. It is simply not enough to not be Donald Trump. Hilary Clinton proved that in 2016 and yet here everyone is in 2023 with a year left to make different choices all ready to blame, not the candidate, but the voters they’re failing to reach.

Work harder. And look at 2016 as a cautionary tale.

With all that's going on in the world right now, I think most people are willing to jump on board with a movement towards a presidential candidate that is actually fit to serve from 2025 through 2029. They are out there. We must demand it.

Or...and get this...you could make them want to vote for you rather than demanding they vote for you by offering them policies they want! And generally not being hostile to these people you want support from.

But alas. The Democrats still haven't learned. They think they can treat progressives like shit then stomp and yell and bully them into voting blue because Trump.

We hear this Every. Four. Years. Vote blue no matter who! Democracy is at stake. Enough is enough. I'm not voting for you! I do not agree with your policies. And you do not want me in your party.

You are a dumbass. We have diplomats engaged in every aspect of this, especially getting hostages out, but your Hamas heroes won’t negotiate away the children they are using as human shields.

We are the good guys who always negotiate the end of hostilities in the Middle East and create peace for a few years until Hamas or Hezbollah or some other terrorist group or rogue nation violates the deal by slaughtering Israeli civilians.

DP.

I’m a left-leaning independent.

If the Dems move any further left, I’ll stay home.

Quite the conundrum for the party, I’d say.

What do you suggest?

Don't know. Sounds like we don't belong in the same party. But the Dems are a center right party these days. You used to be what we called a Republican. They aren't left of anything. You can have 'em.

Most of the Democrats in office are progressive and Democrats govern center-left when they have legislative power, but right now, they can’t do much because the House is controlled by Republicans due to people who think like you who didn’t show up in 2022 House elections in New York and California and a few other states.

Also, you views do not even appear to be truly progressive. You may need to look up the definition.

Interesting. Pray tell, what are my views?

Most Democrats are NOT progressive. They are corporate liberals through and through. The US does not have actual leftists represented in government. You guys think Bernie is waaaay out there and he's like the mildest flavor of leftist there is.

Your party is not my party, and I'm done giving you my vote in the interest of choosing the lesser evil. It's all evil.

Grow up. You sound like a sophomore taking your first real world course and all you can process are very simple good/evil, black/white, heroes/villains as if everything is supposed to be a Disney fairy tale.

The most toxic ‘privileged narcissists’ are the ones who refuse to address political+moral disasters created by their own leaders and instead blame the weak for their, and everyone else’s, problems.
