I feel so bad for them! Those protesters are jerks. “We can’t find Brian, so let’s attack his random sister.”

That’s so sad her children are suffering. I hope now that’s she’s spoken out, the protesters will leave her alone. It’s interesting she hasn’t been able to speak to her parents. They know something and the attorney’s got a muzzle on them.

Distraction. They have her speaking out to distract the attention.

I think the sister is genuine. But I think other people will just go try and harass them. It looks like the protesters that took the video sold it to media, I bet they lied and they don't know the Petitos.

I agree. But the blame is on Brian and his parents for deliberately obstructing the police in their search for Gabby. I’m still amazed they walk free - I’m hoping there is some angle and they will still go to jail.

I feel bad for her because she didn't kill Gabby, she didn't ask for this, and her kids are suffering. But I'm also not certain she is divulging everything she knows. I feel like she might be holding back.

Agree. Also, “I haven’t talked to my parents” is a total cop out. Sounds like “I can’t talk to my parents because they might tell me something I’m not supposed to know.”

She is an accomplice. Our justice system is broken which leaves the public to carry out the slow torture, vigilante justice of making her life hell. If the family had not protected the killer, this would not be happening.

Ya think? She said herself that she was holding back, "I'm not supposed to talk about that."

Agree. They are all complicit at this point and we are allowing it. An utter disgrace.

She shouldn’t have to divulge anything to random people, and it’s absurd to interrogate her. She spoke with the FBI.

I'm amazed at what the Laundrie parents are willing to give up to delay justice: their son would most likely have been convicted of manslaughter had his parents done the right thing and urged him - effectively- to turn himself into the WY police.

Gabbie's parents would have had a recognizable body and though the loss is brutal and their lives will never recover from it, they would have been provided a full confession, an apology and some sense that Brian extremely regretted what he did.

Brian would likely have gotten manslaughter ( 20 years, out in 10 years ? does anyone know )

Instead, Brian will spend years as a fugitive ( OK, he wanted to be a roaming loser anyway) , but his jail sentence won't start until he is caught so say he lives 5 years on the LAMB, then he gets 20 year sentence. In the end, his life was made miserable for much longer.

He might also be killed or die while he is living rough- the stats on that are not in his favor. All because of what ? This happened because CLEARLY Roberta and Christopher Laundrie's value system is such that they raised a man who thinks he is always right, that he is the most important person all the time and that lying, stealing and even killing are not his fault.

The Laundrie parents have no basic humility or human decency and they are willing to break all contact with their daughter, their grandchildren and even their son- never see them or talk to them again to avoid the admission that Brian murdered someone. They also will likely lose their business and have to leave their home.

The name Laundrie will forever be associated with the parents who lied and to cover for their son and the man who killed a girl and then ran away like a coward rather than man up.

The sister isn't totally innocent. She gave interviews early on in which she said she had not seen her brother Brian since his return to Florida. That was totally untrue. She has tried to claim--through the Laundrie family attorney-- that she misunderstood the reporter's question when asked. https://www.wpbf.com/article/brian-laundries-sister-did-see-him-twice-since-return-without-gabby-petito/37828714# Note too she is going through the same attorney as her parents.

She didn't have to make the earlier statement. She did it voluntarily and iMO she lied. So, yes, people are angry.

In a sense they are still he penultimate helicopter parents.

Same poster as above. Correction: Sister says her parents' lawyer is "throwing her under the bus." He says he isn't acting for her. He just corrected her misstatements.

1) sister did NOT lie -- read the transcript

2) sister is NOT represented by that attorney. She AND he both said so.

3) sister said that she's "not supposed to talk" because she would just be bullshitting and guessing and creating drama when she knows NOTHING -- that does NOT mean she is hiding anything.

Stop blaming innocent family members. If that's okay, let's blame Gabby's parents -- they are related to her.
