DP.

"Busy working out excuses for their kids and calling PR firms."

You have been called out.

Sarcasm. Obviously they weren’t calling PR firms AT the march.

Correct, this is about what happened AFTER the march, while they were waiting for a bus.

Again, the post if very well crafted, short and succinct, and close-enough to correct to mislead effectively.
Nice try to divert and gaslight about the timeing and subtly switch the subject, but still a deceptive straw man argument.

"A man who tells lies, merely hides the truth. But a man who tells half-lies has forgotten what the truth is"

Yes, they were leaving the event, obviously not calling PR firms.

Did you see the chaperone in the video? She admitted she wasn’t watching them.

The behavior of the Covington kids and Kavanaugh will never be forgotten.

Again, no one has been able to articulate *what* these kids did that was so horrible!!

He STOOD there. In the same spot he'd been standing in, since before the NA man came up to him.

And that's bad because........? Why?

Is a person under some universal obligation to move when someone walks up to them and starts beating a drum in their face?

fundamentally, they came to DC to try to interfere with my right to control my body. and then acted like dumb jocks on the steps of the lincoln memorial, performed not only a disrespectful haka but also the tomahawk chop, THEN defended blackface. Covington Catholic = scum.

See. That is what this is about. Had they been wearing pussy hats the next day, they would be hailed as heroes.
Wrong day, wrong hat - in your opinion.

Wearing MAGA hats at the March For Life definitely gives some insight into these people.

You want to interfere with my rights, too, but I don't call you names.

You should try to be more tolerant of other opinions.

Which rights?

Let's try this again...and see how does your logic holds up.

Whoopi Goldberg is on The View

Joy Behar is on the The View

They're ok with blackface.
Therefore "The View" = scum

From the article:

To put it bluntly: They were 16-year-olds subjected to verbal racist assault by grown men; and then the kids were accused of being bigots. It just beggars belief that the same liberals who fret about “micro-aggressions” for 20-somethings were able to see 16-year-olds absorbing the worst racist garbage from religious bigots … and then express the desire to punch the kids in the face.

THIS.

With this, I honestly don’t think another word can be said that adds anything. It is done.

Except he watched the wrong the video.

Wow. This is enlightening!!

Big time. Notice “grandpa” didn’t continue further to the memorial to continue his “religious ceremony?” And the natives said “they won?”

Leftist scum!

Here is a Kentucky Catholic bishop who actually abides by his principles and calls out others who contradict them.

https://amp.kentucky.com/opinion/op-ed/article224984305.html

"I am ashamed that the actions of Kentucky Catholic high school students have become a contradiction of the very reverence for human life that the march is supposed to manifest. As such, I believe that U.S. Catholics must take a look at how our support of the fundamental right to life has become separated from the even more basic truth of the dignity of each human person."

"it astonishes me that any students participating in a pro-life activity on behalf of their school and their Catholic faith could be wearing apparel sporting the slogans of a president who denigrates the lives of immigrants, refugees and people from countries that he describes with indecent words and haphazardly endangers with life-threatening policies."

How many illegal migrants is the good bishop housing? Surely he can sacrifice a few of his own creature comforts, no?

It's likely he does more to help immigrants (and children) than 99.999% of MAGA idiots.

He never explains what "actions" of the students he is ashamed of. Seems his big beef is that they were wearing MAGA hats.
I don't remember him drafting a similar letter of condemnation as children donned vagina hats and such when their mothers took them to the Women's March.

Here is a piece about what John Stowe gets wrong: https://www.nationalreview.com/2019/01/covington-catholic-kids-bishop-john-stowe-unjustly-condemns/

Did anyone here say why exactly all the hate towards the Catholic kids?

Have you seen any of the videos? If your kid was in the crowd, you'd be proud of that behavior?

Not saying it's the worst thing in the world, but it's certainly shameful behavior on such a day in such a place. It wasn't a pep rally before a basketball game. Of course, then they'd be in blackface...

Listen, maybe I am a jaded city person, but the "harassment" the teens faced was something commuters in DC very frequently deal with. In fact I once happened to chat with one of these guys that believe that AAs are the superior race and whatnot, and while he was batshit crazy, he was not scary or intimidating and we had a decent back-and-forth.

You know.... if they were actually in the memorial building, I think you would have more of an argument. Cheering in the memorial building is not appropriate. But, they weren't. They were at the foot of the steps waiting for their bus.
And, yes, I watched several of the videos. And, the kids were cheering to drown out the hateful words of the Black Hebrew Israelites. An appropriate thing to do given their smears, language, and insults.
Had my son been present, I would have had no problem at all with the behavior I saw.
