Discrimination against Asians

" How many high schools in China have majority-American school enrollments? China is a fundamentally different country. That is why many left to come here. "

By dominating rather than assimilating, the many who left Asia will now make America more and more like China - which defeats the original purpose.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I think because our cultures are so vastly different, the Asians, namely Chinese, may be unable to appreciate this concept, nor do they seem to want to. Their culture doesn’t seem to be compatible with ours in a number of ways. How would any native born person in any other country of the world react, if droves of people from other countries were coming in trying to dominate education with whatever unethical means possible, and then claiming superiority. We are called racist and jealous if we question it. It’s madness.

I hope someone compile comments here and send them to the school board. These are the kind of racists' support this proposal attracted. You would think you were at a Trump rally.

Should we all just sit back and let the chips fall as they may? We need to somehow level the playing field. If certain groups have differing ideas of how to educate and possess the means and extra time for all of this additional prep and practice, that must be considered to be an advantage. This is not racist and should apply to everyone living in the US. Should we just pull the wool over our eyes?

The number of high schools in United States with majority-Asian school enrollments warrants tracking: TJ, Stuyvesant . . .

So few seem ready to come to grip with what's going on here in 'our" classrooms.

Many accusations? How would people react to this “system” in any other country? People are entitled to their feelings and opinions and shouldn’t be referred to as being “racist”. It’s gaslighting.
