I’m not oppressed, how ever certain socioeconomic groups have been for over 500 years in this country and you appear to want to come here and step on them as well.

I recognize how much we owe to the leaders of the civil rights movement. I have also very much encountered the kind who put BLM signs/end racism signs in their yards who can't stand people of color move up in the world and will block them in an underhanded way. I have struggled with such behavior but over the years my realization is that the only way to remain sane and not let resentment take over is to ignore the haters and stop giving importance to racists. Such a typical statement from you. It's one thing when the racism that you face is in the form of being accused of being too smart or too silent, or bad at sports. These are things that you can ignore while on your "journey". Racism that involves harassment, lack of job opportunities, police brutality, etc. can't be so easily ignored.

Those things have been ignored for over 100 years. They are being videotaped and still being ignored which is why we see protesting and the protesting is even ignored.

It's been really informative to me as well. Sometimes I've wondered how representative it is (i.e. how many posters there have been). I've suspected that this thread is made up of just a handful of people with extreme views. I honestly can't relate to a lot of it. I wish people could try to focus on the things that make us all the same and try to love each other. We really are all more the same than we are different.

No wedding or church gatherings happening in the US right? People happy while homeless sleep on freezing cold streets and people in Flint don’t even have clean drinking water? Gun happy rampages in schools killing children every year. How dare people in this country ever celebrate any special life moments while kids are being murdered?

And considering the billion + population in India, yeah their going to have high numbers yet still not as high as our country with only 300 million people. And the number of deaths there has still been less than 150,000. They’ve got something like a 90% recovery rate. I’d say their medical folks are doing pretty good. Several other countries have asked for medical assistance from the Indian govt and doctors have gone to the Middle East and Africa to help communities.

But you just need to find a way to throw out some hate. Deflect from the fact that this is a thread about Asian AMERICAN kids at one high school in one county, in one state right here. You know try to malign and tear down wherever you can when you start to feel defensive.
