Beauvoir was our first choice and we have been accepted so we will happily go there. |

Sidwell
DD PK Accept! |
| 14:57, that answers my question. We feel the same way and that's one of the reasons we chose Beauvoir. |
| 0-for-3! WL at Big 3 (applied only to 3); P-K; diversity; 97%; no FA; so-called feeder.....v. disappointed. |
I'm sorry. Do you have other plans? |
No. Any advice? |
Sorry PP. Can your DC do PK at your current preschool and apply again next year? |
As you wrote, this is disappointing. Don't forget to call or send notes early next week and reiterate, in as warm of a way as you can, why this school is such a good fit for your family and why your family is a good fit for the school. You want them to have a good, or at least a familiar, feeling if they turn to the wait list. Also, find out what the wait lists means for each school. Some schools it is just a pleasant rejection. Others really do turn to their wait lists in the coming weeks as double admitteds make decisions. |
Congrats! |
Sometimes the wait list has movement. I think last year a few slots weren't settled until the summer. Norwood is a great school and the kids seem very happy and exmissions are good. |

STA, Landon, and 2 others
DS (AA) rejected at all 4 (ds scored 99% wpsi years ago, let's just say not the same for wisc iv) we have an awful public school, i have no idea what we will do |
Where is DC in school now? Any chances for OOB in your school system? |
There is a lot of that lower wisc thing happening. |
rather not say, but it is considered a very good school. OOB? it's not just our public school that is awful, it's the entire public school system. plan b is to apply at privates that have late application. |
