Here's the text from Momani's sister to Lee: "Just wanted to make sure your doing OK because I know Nima came wayyy down hard on you and thank you for being such a classy man handling it with class
Love you Selfish prik**s."

Disagree. It’s not in the culture. He isn’t seen as a good match for her. She probably wanted to have fun (maybe just get drunk and/or high) and the family wasn’t happy and saw Bob as someone discrediting/taking advantage of the woman

We agree that the family was likely mad that Lee was taking advantage of her--but not because Lee was a "bad match." Momani is a tech wannabe who likely worships big tech bros. He probably would have been thrilled if Lee had been interested in committing, but he wasn't. Meanwhile, the plastic surgeon DH, who may be bankrolling both of them, is threatening to leave. ("The marriage was in jeopardy.") Momani is a loose cannon and hearing Bob tell him that his sister was just a quick lay may have been the last straw.

The plastic surgeon husband

Where did you see marriage in jeopardy??

Only one had kids and they were with their ex! As for the job - the higher up the ladder you are the more flexible your job is

Are you kidding? These are all things that people get into trouble with every single day. Like he did. What the hell is wrong with you?

I see nothing horrible about recreational drinking.
And it’s not like the wrong crowd was any sort of criminals

They are going to snow job bob — have to show she is a happily married housewife and he was a drugged f up pursuing her and plying her with drugs.

I can't imagine any jury would acquit. Hope not anyway.

What a trash family. More reputable people would not have been free to booze it up all day and half the night mid-week.

His poor daughters. What was even the point?

Won’t be acquitted but will get light sentence in Woke SF, since this was a culturally sensitive honor killing. It’s not like he’ll be a threat to anyone other than people courting his married sister /s

Sadly abandoning his family cross the country, supplying drugs, partying till 2am, he was part of the bad crowd. How could he know one was a desperate hanger on — and losing his golden ticket would drive him to murder.

No proof he was supplying
It could be a party where everyone shared… pretty common in certain circles
What’s uncommon is a brother claiming his grown ass sister is being dragged into something indecent. She is an adult!

Recreational drugs. Hanging with the wrong crowd doesn’t have to be criminals. By the way, you are wrong. One is a murderer. Did you miss that?

Nah he just was derelict on his job, coasting off Block wealth and living like a bachelor with his dad in Miami.

Not a lawyer but I believe witnessing and not telling (unless you are being questioned) is not a crime?
