New ECNL team in Moco?

What would a team getting ECNL do for them? The quality of players goes up?

More teams doesn't mean more elite players. You're just watering down the teams.

Without getting into BSC love/hate, it would be good to have more than one ECNL option in moco. I doubt it would water down teams.

It would not. There are some great players that are nomads for lack of the right team fit. My DD would join in a heartbeat.

It wont water down teams. There are plenty of good players out there that don't get fair evaluations because of soccer politics.

Well it would be players from Potomac 1 trying out too, since Bethesda is the only one with an ENCL girls team in MoCo.

If your daughter were any good, she would be playing for BSC. The good to great players do fine at BSC. It's the players who don't understand the game, can't learn fast that don't do well.

Incorrect. If you knew the coach of NL team at Bethesda for our age group, you might understand why some would not play under him. The 2nd RL team is a wide ability range and there is no help for college recruitment. The other issue w Bethesda is lack of general organization: constantly changing practice times, days, locations, and tournaments. Believe me, there needs to be another option.

When do Bethesda and other ECNL clubs in Maryland hold ID sessions for girls? Virginia ECNL clubs seem to hold them in early March.
