Or “invalidate ” her kids.

How ridiculous.

Mike was pressuring her throughout the pods (if I were Mike, Emma would be a huge red flag and vice versa). Even though I don’t say it in public, I feel similarly to Emma’s sister. Not every mom enjoys motherhood. Some of us have kids with special needs and cannot catch a break.

It's actually so so common! I've heard many parents say the same thing. Being honest about parenthood shouldn't be so controversial, especially when discussing it with someone on the fence.

In private, sure, on a message board, to friends...That's totally fine, but not on tv for your kids to watch. I think smart people are those like some family members in various reality shows who refuse to come and be on, like Bri's dad, Amber's ex...There is no upside to going on and being judged by strangers, or making hurtful comments like this one by accident or through shady editing by producers.

It's fine to talk about on TV. Not everyone wants to be hush hush about their very real feelings about parenthood, and that's fine. If it's not something you'd discuss, well that's your life. You don't get to dictate how everyone else lives theirs.

That’s a selfish perspective. It’s not fine to talk about on TV. She may have the right to her feelings but she needs to understand that broadcasting them out over mass airways might make it back to her children. Imagine if your young child heard that. Sure no one can dictate how you live your life but put your kids feelings first.

I think lying to people about parenthood is a selfish perspective. Saying parenting is hard is not abandoning your children. She sounds like a great mom. You're taking something personally that wasn't meant for you.

NP-You are misrepresenting what she said. Nobody would have any issue with a mom saying parenting is hard or talking about all the aspects of motherhood. It's very different from saying out loud on tv that if you could do it again you'd not have your children.

Not really. The implication of saying "parenthood is really difficult, being childfree is so much simpler and easier" is the same. You just dont like women owning that motherhood isn't always the best choice. Women are allowed to feel that way, and you telling them to STFU is wildly inappropriate.

We’re not telling her to STFU. We’re saying that you don’t say what she said on national tv where her kids could possibly see it.

Exactly this.
But being empowered to say how you feel no matter who it hurts is peak 2026 feminism.

Are you even a woman? Now you're trying to insult feminism? Wtf.

Insulting feminism is not the same as pointing out the “only my feelings matter” version of feminism in 2026.
It’s toxically narcissistic.

So you're a man trying to mansplain motherhood? GTFOH with that garbage.

Rumor has it that at the reunion Devonte says he’s engaged to someone else and is having a baby with her. Trash!

Only Amber/ Jordan and Vic/christine will marry this season imo.

That's okay. He's awful and Britanny would have been miserable with him. I get she really wants to get married but she needs to have more self-respect.

I've read several interesting tidbits about the reunion, but don't want to spoil here.

Uummmmm. Girl. It’s one thing to say that to your therapist or even in a private confessional moment to your close girlfriends, but this was on TV! Those children you have are actual people who are going to see this one day.
Keep those inside thoughts INSIDE.

One of the most damaging things to a person’s self worth is feeling that you are unwanted and unloved by your own mother. She may think that that isn’t what she was expressing, but her kids won’t see it that way. And it’s such a painfully unnecessary thing to say to the world for your kids to hear. Just makes me sad for their future selves.

OMG thank you. I thought it was completely horrible that she said that on TV. I cannot imagine being one of those kids and watching that.

He's a really good guy, but that doesn't mean they're compatible. My hope with them is that they continue to date, and he makes a modest effort to level up and she makes a modest effort to "level down." I wouldn't rule out their meeting in the middle and finding a way to make it work. But the disparities are too big right now to go to the altar. Maybe too big, period, but time will tell.

Connor is a WAY better person than Bri and deserves much much better.

Run, Connor, run!
Do not marry the girl who tells you to your face that you aren’t an alpha male. She doesn’t respect you.

I cant imagine dumping someone because they didn't
a) talk over you
b) tell you what you wanted to eat

Makes me want to gag

She's looking for more confidence and assertiveness. I don't agree with her, but that's her preference. That's the kind of guy she respects. It's okay, he's better off and will find someone more compatible who adores him!

She has a funny way to describing that.

She wants to be with someone who can lead. She is too alpha to be with another alpha. She needs someone like Connor.

That’s the problem with her though.
She doesn’t really want a guy to out-alpha her. He would have to be a total a$$ Chris. She would find it exciting for like three minutes and then she’d be pussed that she didn’t get her way and he’d be irritated that she wasn’t submissive enough.
In any case, Connor should never settle for a woman who speaks to him with the disdain that she does. She doesn’t even like him. At all. The only compliments she ever gave him was that she loved the way HE loved her. Ewwww. Narcissist much?

She will be 40 and complaining to her girlfriends how there are no men out there.

I hope they eviscerate him at the reunion.

I do NOT like that guy, he's a total ass, but he's an Ohio 8, if he was taller, lost some of his belly fat, he'd be a 10. He is CUTE. He's not even an LA 5, like an LA 7.

Seriously? He is homely looking with a bad body. Anyone who brags about working out that much and shames women for not working out better look gorgeous with a six pack and great biceps. This is the type of guy who can come up to a 7 with a GREAT personality, and he has a shitty one so it's not happening.

Scores are solely based on hotness, not attitude. And it varies based on where you live. A DC 10 is an LA 6.

Sure, but he's not that hot. He's not a hard body, he's not tall, he doesn't have good skin, he's always so ruddy. I have a similar complexion, but he looks like he's not been taking care of himself. He has a full head of hair and blue eyes, that's enough for some people I guess? Is he ugly, no, but I certainly wouldn't consider him hot.

All of these people are regular looking. There is nothing wrong with it, this is how most people look. I think some average people have a problem that their dating pool is also average.

Alex Ashley and Brittany are hot

Agree but also Vic is hot af. Even granny was swooning.

Vic takes the hotness crown for sure. The others are not close.

Attack other women?
Hey I have no skin in this game and it doesn’t matter to me whether or not she likes motherhood or regrets it.
Saying I feel sorry for her kids having to hear her mom say that if she had a do-over, she would choose not to have them isn’t “attacking” her. It’s empathizing with the potential embarrassment and harm felt by the children.
No one wants to hear that their own mom would choose to be childless rather than choose to bring them into the world.
To mom, it may be an hypothetical. But it’s remarkable to me you cannot fathom how, to the child, this wishful hypothetical is mom speaking aloud her preference that they would not exist in her do-over world.

Because that's not what she said. I presume you flunked any language analysis class you've ever taken? You grasp neither specifics nor nuance.

The lack of basic comprehension skills does explain why we are where we are as a country. God it's depressing.
