+ 1 But also her kids are SO YOUNG. I worry about her mental health that she doesn’t seem aware that she’s in a season of her life, it’s not forever. Of course you lose yourself those first few years, but it does come back and it does get easier. |

Alex is as fake as they come. Even his name is “new”!
He used to be Alec Ferrell - played soccer for Wake Forest 2012-2016. I feel like he is so broken. Chris is just awful. Worst villain thus far on any LIB. At least I think so! |
I actually know the reason behind the name change: His actual, current name is his birth name. His mom later married an abusive man who insisted on the name change when he adopted him legally, the first name as well. So he decided as an adult to revert to his original name. I do not like Alex but a lot of his behavior is due to huge trauma and instability: I don't think he actually knows how to "be", so he performs instead and he can't do it well so always does come across poorly. |
Yes, and his scripted responses are so stilted and weird. I feel like Ashley took a minute to grok to it because she also "knows her angles" and has a bunch of canned responses. But when she told him "sometimes you talk and talk but haven't said anything" I realized that she might be starting to come around to the fact that he's just a shiny shell. Her MAGA dad was very strange. I hope they edited out him telling Ashley that he did not approve, because if not he comes across as gross. He enjoyed holding court but didn't seem to impart any real wisdom, which may be why Ashley was drawn to Alex in the first place. He saw through Alex immediately, laughed about it, and then sent them on their way. He says Ashley has a bad picker but doesn't appear to be giving her any direct advice to avoid this guy. |
Yeah, it doesn't mean anyone has to put up with him as a partner who lies constantly, but he has clearly been through a lot. Little stability and even his mother barely knows him. He tries to say whatever to get people to like him. |
He gets pass for the name change then. But their conversations are SO unnatural. Especially for a romantic couple. They speak to each other like they just met at a cocktail party and can't wait to get away. It is hard to watch. Agree her Dad is an ass. The poor brother! Mentions Trump is an issue for him and basically gets ignored. Imagine having that as your family - poor guy. |
| Vic is getting glazed so hard on his Insta. Love that for him. Can't believe an academic represented so well on a reality dating show! |
| Brittany is so indiscriminating. Not that I like Devonta, but I actually don't blame him for pulling away. She is just too desperate. |
| Preview suggests one of the marriages didn't work out. |
Oh, too bad. I guess I'm not really surprised though. He did not seem ready for any kind of meaningful lifestyle change. I think everyone thought he would be a "no" but maybe he felt pressured to go through with it. |

Not one person in that room was surprised when Mike said no, including Emma and her mom.
The Ashley, Alex thing seemed scripted. Just silly that they bothered to go that far. |
It was odd that Jordan was talking about bars an hour away from little Emma's school the day of the wedding. But I wasn't surprised - I think he's a nice enough guy that he would have done it before the wedding if he were going to say no, given that Amber has a daughter. |
| Can we be petty and talk about how Alex had fuzz or dandruff or something in his hair and beard at his wedding? They were both a no from the start, lol. |
