Connor if you’re reading this, YOU CAN DO SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!Chris came off ok. He did his best to own up but he still looked like a Sh!t. But wow, Alex came off so defensive and angry. Was definitely not expecting that. Devonte , wow, I have NO idea what girl could say yes to him! Ugh……….

Now you know the answer is PLENTY. He lives in Columbus Ohio and earns between 10 to 40K a month, and everything in between.

If Devonta and Alex are friends/roommates, that's all I need to know about either of them. Can you imagine these two and how high on themselves they are together? Yuck.

Granted, Ashley and Brittany were also weirdos, but in a different way.

I think Alex is a very interesting person. Gallons of childhood trauma covered in fake sports bro speech and fake confidence, but I totally do believe he actually is decent underneath it all. When Vanessa said so he actually had this little moment of letting his guard down, like he doesn't hear nice things very often so he's always on the defensive feeling like crap and justifying himself. Had he been matched with Brittany who was so kind and nurturing to Devonta (even though he gave nothing back) that might have been very good, and her dad could have been an excellent father figure for him.

Hot take: Ashley isn’t that pretty.

Bri told Tudumthat trying on her dress completely freaked her out. “I had a gigantic menty b after the wedding dresses,” she said. “I took that dress off and I hyperventilated in a corner with my mom, and I was like, ‘I can’t do this.’ That’s when I went home to Connor and was like, ‘We’ve got to really reconsider how far we’re going to take this.’”

I kind of agree. Found it weird how appalled she was that someone might not find her attractive.

Completely agree.

I'm glad Jordan told the drunk wedding story rather than allow himself to be pushed under the bus. Also good to hear Vanessa explain that Alex's behavior comes from a lot of trauma (she had a tough childhood herself) Ultimately the show seems to have learned that full on take downs are not ok and everyone there is a flawed person.

Yeah it was really being framed as he's just a frat boy doofus who couldn't handle adulting. She's not ready for a relationship, she hates men! Like says how much she hates them on TV! And then acting like being invited to be his plus-one was an unrealistic expectation he was putting on her, as opposed to a perfectly normal part of being a couple, was super strange.

Brittany's dad was so kind and genuine. Devonte's kid is screwed, I'm sad to say.

Probably by the first woman who gave his box built body the time of day. It seems really rushed to just up and have a baby on the way. He spent 3 months of the year breaking up with Brit then it takes 2 months for a positive test result so how much does he even know this woman?

He knows her enough to see she’s a white woman. When he saw Brittany was a WOC that was it.

Yeah, he actually implied as much. Said he had never dated or been attracted to a WOC. I have no idea why she did not pick up on that, or her father fwiw. I don't know, it is a question that I would have asked directly. My question is why did both Alex and Devonte stay in that relationship knowing they were not physically attractive to the women they chose in the pods. And BTW, Devonte has some admixture in his DNA. To me, I see it in his phenotype, and if he took the requisite testing, it would be found also in his genotype. JMO

Devonta is honestly very typical of black/white biracials with an absentee black dad. They end up rejecting everything to do with blackness and accepting every negative stereotype that comes their way about black women while seeking validation from black men.

(At least in my observations as a biracial woman)

Brittany went into it obviously knowing he was not white with that name so it probably never crossed her mind that another POC could be so racist against themself. She’s kind of a head in the clouds type of person.

Her personality is not at all appealing.

Yes, Alex found Brittany more to his liking and she was so ready to be with anyone who was willing to marry her, that might have actually worked out.

I feel so bad for Brittany, she's got a good heart and a great family. She just needs to believe in herself and believe she deserves a good guy.

Her dad was a mess IMO. He was so excited about Devonta when they met, just seemed happy to have anyone marry his daughter. I guess that's where Brittany got that attitude about marriage. His speech at the reunion was so cringe. Can't his adult daughter speak for herself?

Mike was pressuring her throughout the pods (if I were Mike, Emma would be a huge red flag and vice versa). Even though I don’t say it in public, I feel similarly to Emma’s sister. Not every mom enjoys motherhood. Some of us have kids with special needs and cannot catch a break.

It's actually so so common! I've heard many parents say the same thing. Being honest about parenthood shouldn't be so controversial, especially when discussing it with someone on the fence.

In private, sure, on a message board, to friends...That's totally fine, but not on tv for your kids to watch. I think smart people are those like some family members in various reality shows who refuse to come and be on, like Bri's dad, Amber's ex...There is no upside to going on and being judged by strangers, or making hurtful comments like this one by accident or through shady editing by producers.

It's fine to talk about on TV. Not everyone wants to be hush hush about their very real feelings about parenthood, and that's fine. If it's not something you'd discuss, well that's your life. You don't get to dictate how everyone else lives theirs.

That’s a selfish perspective. It’s not fine to talk about on TV. She may have the right to her feelings but she needs to understand that broadcasting them out over mass airways might make it back to her children. Imagine if your young child heard that. Sure no one can dictate how you live your life but put your kids feelings first.

I think lying to people about parenthood is a selfish perspective. Saying parenting is hard is not abandoning your children. She sounds like a great mom. You're taking something personally that wasn't meant for you.
