Love is Blind - Season 10

I like this season so far. On reddit, people are saying it's very "conservative" because everyone is talking about kids. I felt it was more that the people are a little older and that's definitely a factor in getting into a serious relationship in your 30s.

I did do a deep dive of IG accounts when I couldn't sleep last night. Most everyone has a low number of followers. This is different than at least Denver, which seemed to have more influencers who were trying to use the show for their career rather than to fall in love.

The women so far come off pretty well. The guys are more messy - Alex, Devonte, Kevan. Yikes.

I wish we would see more of Vic and Christine, but I get that they are probably just too boring for reality TV.

Agreed, but I think we'll see Vic and Christine back in Ohio after the trip. Apparently they were sent to Malibu instead, but no cameras.

I kinda assume because one of them didn’t have a passport or it didn’t get renewed in time?

Well that sucks:

We’ve never had the resources to send more than six couples to Mexico,” Chris told Tudum in an interview published on Feb. 12. “But this season, we felt so good about the couples that for the very first time we chose to follow seven of them, producing the biggest season in Love Is Blind history.”

“In order to make this work, we had to offer one couple the chance to go to Malibu on their own getaway,” he continued. “And while the romantic getaways are a chance to not only see if the couples can turn their emotional connection into a physical one, they are also a chance to address outstanding feelings and issues with others they may have dated in the pods.”

I think she has had a hard life.

Be kind.

Let me correct that for you.

“It is always the one with the pen&s who feels he deserves to be either a supermodel.”

Men with money literally marry supermodels.

Or one has immigration issues? I mean why would they just skip over providing any reason?

Pretty lame. They must have a tight budget.

The producers probably saw this as insurance, since couples seem to be falling out early in recent seasons.

This was the part that stuck out for me. I read it elsewhere too. It implies that the couple in Malibu wouldn’t provide a good amount of drama.

Already binged the three newest episodes. Yuck. I spent the first two episodes disgusted by Alex, thinking it wouldn’t get worse. Then Chris came along. What a total loser. So glad Jess isn’t letting him get under her skin because she is a catch.

Actually really like Amber and Jordan together - as long as he gets over the whole Mount Vernon thing. She’s not moving her kid.

Vic and Christine are obviously wonderful. I’d be shocked if they didn’t get married.

Bri and Connor clearly aren’t going to work and she spent far too long entertaining Chris’ commentary at the bar. Connor is kind of meh but he can find a fit out there who will love his meh.

Not sure where I read it, but they had 1 extra couple (so I guess would have needed to hire more producers) and because V&C didn’t have a love triangle there would be less drama in Mexico. They we’re given a choice and I actually love this for them. They get an engagement vacation and get time alone to really work on their relationship and getting to know each other.

I actually know someone who knows Vic and they say he is the same genuine and calm and reflective IRL as protrayed on the show. They were happy that having a less airtime makes it a bit less likely for him to get embarrassed.

It was great to see all the close families and welcoming parents, genuinely happy for their child. Pretty funny when Ashley’s lawyer dad interrogated Alex and was suspicious of his honesty. When pp said Alex would be the villain of this season, Chris came along and took the crown. he reminds me of a gremlin that was given water. Gross

I’m only halfway through the first episode, but I’m going to get really annoyed if Steven sticks around.

Stop. Finishing. People’s. Sentences.

He just keeps interrupting. That would drive me up the wall.
