It's actually so so common! I've heard many parents say the same thing. Being honest about parenthood shouldn't be so controversial, especially when discussing it with someone on the fence.

Omg again…missing the point entirely.
Her kids are still children. The show is televised.
This wasn’t a confidential chat between adults. And you can say “parenting is hard even for those who KNOW they wanted kids like me! I wouldn’t recommend it at all for anyone who is t 100% sure!” And that’s fine.
You can even say privately to a friend or group of friends “if I had it all to do again, I wouldn’t have kids!”

But you dont ever allow your own children to hear you say those words because it literally puts them in a very personally devastating position of hearing their own mom invalidate their existence.

That you don’t see the difference is shocking.

In private, sure, on a message board, to friends...That's totally fine, but not on tv for your kids to watch. I think smart people are those like some family members in various reality shows who refuse to come and be on, like Bri's dad, Amber's ex...There is no upside to going on and being judged by strangers, or making hurtful comments like this one by accident or through shady editing by producers.

It's fine to talk about on TV. Not everyone wants to be hush hush about their very real feelings about parenthood, and that's fine. If it's not something you'd discuss, well that's your life. You don't get to dictate how everyone else lives theirs.

That’s a selfish perspective. It’s not fine to talk about on TV. She may have the right to her feelings but she needs to understand that broadcasting them out over mass airways might make it back to her children. Imagine if your young child heard that. Sure no one can dictate how you live your life but put your kids feelings first.

I think lying to people about parenthood is a selfish perspective. Saying parenting is hard is not abandoning your children. She sounds like a great mom. You're taking something personally that wasn't meant for you.

Is this the only time she can talk with her sister? Do it off camera. No brownie points for overhearing on tv.

Yes she said she loves her kids but also specifically said if she could do her life over she would not have had them. When her children inevitably see that blared across national television do you not think that will be incredibly hurtful and potentially damaging to them?

I actually don’t. I think once her kids, especially if they are women, are adults they’ll totally get it.

I hope they eviscerate him at the reunion.

I do NOT like that guy, he's a total ass, but he's an Ohio 8, if he was taller, lost some of his belly fat, he'd be a 10. He is CUTE. He's not even an LA 5, like an LA 7.

Hes 5’2’.

Seriously? He is homely looking with a bad body. Anyone who brags about working out that much and shames women for not working out better look gorgeous with a six pack and great biceps. This is the type of guy who can come up to a 7 with a GREAT personality, and he has a shitty one so it's not happening.

Scores are solely based on hotness, not attitude. And it varies based on where you live. A DC 10 is an LA 6.

Sure, but he's not that hot. He's not a hard body, he's not tall, he doesn't have good skin, he's always so ruddy. I have a similar complexion, but he looks like he's not been taking care of himself. He has a full head of hair and blue eyes, that's enough for some people I guess? Is he ugly, no, but I certainly wouldn't consider him hot.

All of these people are regular looking. There is nothing wrong with it, this is how most people look. I think some average people have a problem that their dating pool is also average.

Alex Ashley and Brittany are hot

Unless he thinks coming with a [calculated] mea culpa will help his reputation, he ain’t coming. He is manipulative so maybe he thinks he can manage to look contrite. He’s the worst.

OMG!!! He tried to seduce a woman who was in a loving relationship with, “we could have been f&ck buddies.”

And the fact that he would take her to an expensive hotel. Is he used to impressing prostitutes??

I could believe he pays for sex

He's a really good guy, but that doesn't mean they're compatible. My hope with them is that they continue to date, and he makes a modest effort to level up and she makes a modest effort to "level down." I wouldn't rule out their meeting in the middle and finding a way to make it work. But the disparities are too big right now to go to the altar. Maybe too big, period, but time will tell.

She wants to be with someone who can lead. She is too alpha to be with another alpha. She needs someone like Connor.

I personally love Conner and Jordan. My fave men on the show. Alex is f-able but that’s about it.

He looks like a forgotten Lachey brother. Just a dude who looks like a dude, who is somehow convinced he's hot sh*t.

He looks like JRRTolkien created him. He doesn’t do it for me.

I’ve decided I don’t want spoilers, but I was tempted with that last episode. From the edit, it definitely felt like Mike assumed Emma would say no, which would leave him looking like the good guy so he didn’t have to break it off. He looked like a deer in headlights when she said yes. OR could be just the edit. We’ll see. What a horrible thing to do to someone if he says no now. Yikes.

I disagree it's horrible. It's responsible. He really wants kids, the very first thing he said at the altar. He was giving her the out, cuing her to say no first. Btw there is a rumor she knew that and deliberately said no to keep it "spicy." Who knows if that's true.

Gosh I hate her if that’s a real rumor. 🙄

She was completely into it right up until he said “f*** buddies”
Her face changed instantly from feeling flattered and turned on to feeling insulted.

Connor is too good for both of them

I don't know what episode you were watching. She was physically cringing away from him when he said he could have turned it up in the pods and won her over. There was a nervous laugh at one point but she was *not* completely into it.

+1 she was just looking at him incredulously until she couldn’t stand it anymore.

"I wasn't honest because then you'd ask questions I didn't want to answer because you won't like hearing I'm still hooking up with my ex"
He's such trash.

Yeah, that was some gaslighting trash. But why is she with him? Because she finds him hot? Seriously, it's inexplicable.

I think she assumed he would be attracted to her because she is blonde and pretty. I don’t think she understands not being a preference.

I will throw my remote at my TV next week if Mike says no to Emma.

I predict that Devonta will leave Brittany at the altar. Feel like the rest could go either way.

But Christine and Vic are a lock, don’t you think?

NP. I think so, yes, about Christine and Vic.

Mike should say no. He wants kids, it's a non-negotiable. He shouldn't marry someone who "might" change her mind on that topic. But I could also see Emma saying no, for the same reason. However, Mike does seem to really love her. Does she love him? I can't tell.

Devonta and Brittany are this season's Nancy and Bartise. Painful to watch. Same with Ashley and Alex. Agree with everyone he is both messed up and gross.

Really don't know about Amber and Jordan. I could see them saying no but continuing to date after the show.

I agree Mike's a no, as he should be. He wants it to work out, but you don't marry someone with such a huge issue hanging over them. Jordan's a good guy but taking on a step-kid is a huge responsibility. They should both say no and continue to work on the relationship, including the little girl.
The others are obviously a no. Agree they put weirdly-spliced Vic and Christine footage in because they're the only yes!

There was a lot of glazing of Jordan in comments, but I think he's too immature to take on that role. Maybe eventually, but not now. Also, I'm pretty sure he just likes Amber because he finds her very attractive. And she likes him because he's actually nice to her. That doesn't mean they should be together. I predict a break-up, initiated by Amber. I'd be happy to be wrong, but I don't think so.

Couldn't agree with this more. They don't seem compatible, like at all. He seems like a man-child who still has some growing up to do. Also, not very willing to compromise. She has a much nicer house, but he wants his house because he wants proximity to bars. That's not someone who is going to prioritize family life. I think she deserves better.

Yeah, I don't think Jordan is good stepfather material right now and I'm disappointed in Amber for not recognizing that. You don't take that big of a leap of faith with a child's feelings and stability in the mix.

I think initially viewers thought Amber would dump him because he wasn't her equal in terms of physical attributes and were worried for him. He may be genial but he's a very basic bro type otherwise. Look at his behavior in the bar. She needs a grown-up. She'd probably end up nagging the sh*t out of him.

Okay, he has little going for him…but why are people acting like she is a beauty queen. She looks sort of damaged to me. Dresses too sexually. Fake breasts. Overprocessed hair.

I think she has been through a lot. But she seems like a caring mom,

It's just the physical comparison. Yes, she looks a little rough and has had a hard life. But she still is physically striking, and far more attractive than he is. Plus has her 'ish' together, even if she's had bad luck with men. If he was an absolutely phenomal and mature human being, the physical differences wouldn't matter, and they are both ripe for glow-ups, but I think people are giving him too much credit.

She looked great a few years back with darker, longer hair. The blonde doesn't work for her.

She said she's a natural redhead, I wonder what she looks like!

Check out her Insta, pics there. Much better imo.

You're right, she does look nice with that dark reddish/brownish hair.

Blonde hair is funny, I think it has to be done well and healthy or else all you see is just dry frizzle.

+1 it’s very very difficult to dye your hair when you are a natural red head. Nothing looks right with your complexion or brows.

Well, obviously tons of men must feel this way because they turn their backs on the children the fathered.

NP-You are misrepresenting what she said. Nobody would have any issue with a mom saying parenting is hard or talking about all the aspects of motherhood. It's very different from saying out loud on tv that if you could do it again you'd not have your children.

You have issues.

She never said that us she had it to do over, she would not have HER children.

With hindsight, it sounds like she wonders what her life would have been like if she had not become a parent. Believe me, unlike men…having children really sidetracks most women’s options.
