This outlines this cluster-Fork perfectly.

It's a good theory from this anti musk lefty it even says it on her about page. We'll see if she's wrong. It's odd so many people want to not allow 8 months of paid admin leave to be taken voluntary by federal workers. If Biden proposed it they would all be shouting from the roof tops how amazing it is. It goes to show that in the Washington bubble they think they are in the right and have all the support however looking from outside the beltway the American people are souring on the greed and wasteful spending by the left and obstructing federal employees.

That’s because too many of you are not well educated and you watch too much Fox and listen to too much Joe Rogan and too many white supremacists.

I think it’s a terrible idea because it will hurt essential services but if that’s your goal that’s how you do it. Elon seems to be in a manic state and this trying to hack into all government computers to find some big conspiracy money is not a good sign. I’m honestly worried for his mental health. Really taking out Catholic charities and Lutheran refugee services is your big brag? He’s lost the plot.

Totally agree. I don't know that they could get to 30% with a 50/10 VERA, but, it would be much higher than the 4% they claimed to hit. It could have been a real political victory for Republicans done legally and far less chaotically. Elon's meds must be off. I am waiting for the great Trump-Musk bromance to go down like a Space-X rocket. It's coming quickly!

It's not the left that's looking to throw money at people for not doing anything for 7 months.

You literally contradict yourself.

If Biden proposed it, MAGA would be screaming that it's terrible.

+1

And also dems would not have made such an offer without congressional appropriations. Trump has no power to bind the government to an agreement that conflicts with federal laws (re: buy out caps, funding, admin leave etc.).

Any reasonably intelligent first year law student can see how dumb this whole thing is. The only people cheering this on are those in on the scam and the MAGA fans who have zero clue how the government works. Perhaps we need to re-broadcast school house rocks.

Exactly. Once again:

Anonymous wrote:Question: Does receipt of erroneous information from a government employee entitle a claimant to benefits he would not otherwise receive?

Conclusion: No.

MAGA is on here yelling incoherently about how the left is wasteful with government money, but also we should pay people to take vacations for 7 months and do literally no work, but also the feds are greedy for not taking it.

Monkeys slinging feces and hoping something sticks.

the DOGE morons sent the Fork email to the FAA staffers reeling from the DCA crash even though the agency is super understaffed .

Apparently they also sent it to federal judges. Talk about clueless.

Biden would never propose this because he had competent, educated, and law-abiding people working for him instead of the people who invented "Reply 1 to confirm your dinner reservation, Reply 2 to cancel."

You sound like a Bannon-Stephen Miller-Curtis Yarvin combo.

Do you just parrot ideas all day?

You are obviously MAGA and villainizing whatever Yarvin and Fox told you the “left” was.

For your sake, I hope you learn to have your own ideas instead of borrowing from others.

PS: Lovely grammar you have. 😂

I don't think so because the fork in the road email was essentially a cut and paste from what he sent to Twitter employees when he took over.

But they HAD to have known it wasn't legal and that they would be stopped along the way. Now let's see if judges can actually still make rulings based on law.

I don't think they are doing any due diligence. So did they know? Maybe. I think the main point is that they don't CARE if it's legal.

DING DING DING!! Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!
They know damn well it's a bunch of BS and they are happy for it - and everything else they're pushing - to get to the Supreme Court, where some of it will get approved and some may not. But they will take every bit of win they get gleefully and continue on.

The deadline forcing people to respond today has been paused.

Delayed until Monday, when the judge has scheduled another hearing. Judge wants to review the merits of the case over the weekend.

Judge will very likely issue a permanent TRO on Monday. The plaintiffs strongly argue multiple violations of law by the Fork program and OPM.

Now that Bondi is in they should stop frivolous litigations like this as they cost tax payers a lot of money

Yeah. If Musk and the Muskateers would stop pillaging our country, nobody would have to file lawsuits to stop them. you should get right on that.

America is a right to work country so there is no reason you can't terminate everyone[/quote]

You need to take a government class or two.

Again for the people in back. IT DOESN’T MATTER. It’s illegal to promise money not appropriated. And we are under a CR until 3/14. No matter how many loopholes they close, it’s not real until Congress says it is. Separation of powers? Congress has the power of the purse?

Sad how many feds would fail a civic 101 exam.

+1 And Congress is probably not going to appropriate funds for people to sit around and do nothing for 8 months. Can you imagine how well that would go over back home? Case in point, my family back home has no idea this has been going on for week. I explained the deferred resignation thing to my brother (conservative but not MAGA) and he was like excuse me....WHAT? I told him about the "take a vacation" language, and I thought his head was going to explode. Fun times.

THIS congress would - because it is in the hands of a bunch of Republicans who are not going to interfere with their leader's efforts. And democrats are not going to let the federal workers get stiffed.

The heads explode thing is a bit odd, why would anyone be shocked except for in a positive way about allowing you to take 8 months of paid leave? And I agree, the Republicans are NOT going to vote against fudning trump's deferred resignation plan and democrats are not going to remove funding to hurt federal workers. The unions should drop the lawsuits to let this through as it benefits them greatly however i get it, they think that no worker should be terminated regardless of rif or poor performance so they'll probably just fight everything.

I’m outside the Beltway, I’m pretty centrist, and I hope the instructors at your Internet shill academy discover that the USAID cuts defunded them, too.

Offered free handouts by Republicans, and the feds turning them down.

And yet somehow this translates to Democrats being wasteful, and feds being too greedy? Make it make sense.
