Again for the people in back. IT DOESN’T MATTER. It’s illegal to promise money not appropriated. And we are under a CR until 3/14.  No matter how many loopholes they close, it’s not real until Congress says it is.  Separation of powers? Congress has the power of the purse?

Case in point, my family back home has no idea this has been going on for week. I explained the deferred resignation thing to my brother (conservative but not MAGA) and he was like excuse me....WHAT? I told him about the "take a vacation" language, and I thought his head was going to explode. Fun times.[/quote]
